My brothers and I, along with our families, brought a weekend stay at Lochiel for our parents last Christmas. Unfortunately our dad passed away not long after. Together, with the help of Jonathon and the Lochiel team; my brothers and I arranged to surprise our mum with the weekend stay - just the 5 of us. We couldn't have done it without the help and support of Lochiel. We stayed in the white guest house and it was perfect! We spent our time at the cottage around the fire, enjoying the spa and relaxing together. Would definitely stay again! Thanks Lochiel!

We felt right at home from the moment we stepped into the 3 level cottage. The heater was turned on for us, the fireplace was set up and ready to be lit and the owner, Alan, was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed and asked us to call him if we had any issues. Every window had a wonderful view of the trees and forest surrounding the property. Everything was clean and the cottage was quite spacious for 2. The king size bed was comfortable and perfect for a couple, as was the spa bath. Great little touches make this stay wonderful, such as the complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee, chocolates from the local sweet shop and breakfast vouchers for the Ranges cafe. The only real negative was the noise from the road, and the headlights shining through the

We stayed mid week at these luxury 3 story deluxe appartments. Our service was exceptional in everyway. We could not fault it in anyway. Very clean, and a warm on arrival in apartment, as it was super cold outside. Alan is such a gentleman and Brad looked after us for our sensational breakfast/brunch. The food at the Ranges was generous and cooked to perfection. Made with Love....Hahaaa. We will go back soon no questions asked!!! Thank-you for a wonderful experience. Cheers Jacque and Simon. 😍

Stayed in original cottage, plenty of room for the bride, bridesmaids and her parents to get ready for the big day. Beautiful grounds for pre wedding photos. I was impressed with the number of glasses, we were able to celebrate with the lovely complementary bottle of sparkling wine we received on arrival. Thank you for the easy and helpful check inn. Will return for a luxury relaxing night away in the near future to enjoy the warm log fire.

Thanks to Alan and the team at Lochiel, We had a fantastic and relaxing night in using the spa, kitchen, and TV facilities. Bed was comfortable and the outlook was just amazing! It was a nice touch having Alan greet us on arrival and make us feel extra welcome. We also made use of the vouchers for breakfast at Ranges cafe which had great service and was yummy. Everyone should try the hot chocolate there :) We will be back!!

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at Lochiel Cottages. Our tri-level cottage set amongst the trees was luxurious, clean, warm and cosy. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and breakfast at Ranges Cafe/Restaurant (vouchers were provided), it was just across the road from our cottage and had a great menu selection. Alan was extremely helpful and easy to deal with and I would recommend this lovely accommodation to anyone visiting this beautiful part of the world. Many thanks Alan and the team for your outstanding hospitality.

A beautiful two nights away in at Lochiel Cottage was amazing. The Original Cottage was well appointed, spacious, very clean and very relaxing. Alan was friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed this trip with our primary school boys. I would highly recommend a stay here and we are looking forward to returning!

We stayed at Lochiel in March and realised that we forgot to leave a review. We loved every minute here and would not hesitate to stay again. Loved the fire place and looking out the windows to the surrounding rainforest. Everything was spotless and modern. A great relaxing weekend away.

What a great experience , from the booking process to the amazing accommodation and friendly management at Lochiel Alan was extremely accommodating, the weather was cold and wet, so for our arrival they had lit the fire and ensured the cottage was warm and welcoming. Their local knowledge was greatly appreciated with a wonderful referral to Olinda Cellars just a slight stroll across the street for some local Yarra Valley wine for our stay. We will be back !!
