Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I booked the Garden Cottage for a 1 night stay, as I was working in the area very early the following day and I don't live close by. I took my husband with me, just because I could. Anne was so wonderful to deal with and the ease of booking, paying, staying were excellent. The cottage was pre heated for our arrival in the evening, as it was extremely cold that day. It was cosy, comfortable, perfect for the 2 of us and breakfast provisions, toiletries, towels, electric blankets were all included. I would stay there again.

First time staying in this cosy cottage (and definitely wont be the last time). I didn't get to meet Anne face to face but communication via SMS and phone call was excellent. We had a very late check-in and she was kind enough to leave the lights and heater on for us.

We stayed in the quaint little garden cottage over night. It had everything we need for an overnight stay in a beautiful location. Management were very welcoming and friendly. They were open to feedback in a receptive/non-defensive manner which is what you want when asked to provide feedback. Really impressed with there approach. Would recommend having a look at the variety of accommodation this B&B has to offer.

We had car trouble and our host helped to call the car company and tried negotiating on our behalf. It was very kind of her. The room is separated from the main house so it felt like a small cottage. It was very clean, comfortable and luxurious and we had a pleasant stay. A big thank you to our kind host.

Amazing view of the sunset over the city from the balcony despite not being very high above ground level. The furnishings were comfortable and there was plenty of space for two, but I wouldn’t have liked to have people sleeping on the bed-settee in the living room as the bathroom door opened onto the living space, and the door at the top of the staircase didn’t close properly. Just one disappointment - there was no provision for making coffee other than instant which detracted from the very tasty continental style breakfast provision. We didn’t try the spa bath, but it was a bit worrying to have a sign warning against filling beyond a certain point in case overspill went into the living room below!

My husband and I had an enjoyable overnight stay in a city view cottage. Easy check in process, with an inviting gas fire awaiting our arrival. Comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep, and we enjoyed the spa on the upper level. It was the little details that made our stay pleasant. Only feedback would be the water temperature in the shower was very inconsistent and kept changing from hot to cold, and better quality towels etc would be appreciated. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The garden cottage is surely not 'luxury', instead it is old, tired and in need of repairs! The only good aspects were an excellent continental breakfast and a very comfortable bed, everything else was disappointing. A good tradesman is required for a couple of days to repair the numerous 'defects' such as the several holes in timber panels, broken light switch (currently 'repaired' with tape), missing pelmet-and bare timber-in the en-suite, several areas of missing paint on skirtings, above blind, etc. The sound on the small TV is defective who wants to wash their dishes in the en-suite beside the toilet? We won't be back!

Cute & Romantic cottage with lovely decor ... minimalist, but with all the essentials (comfy bed, nice hot shower, heating/cooling, electric throw rug, tea/coffee, milk). Pleasant surprise to arrive on a cold day to find the heated room with Romantic CD playing The outside decking with gas heater looks to the adjacent national park ... the morning view was tranquil as the mist hovered among the tall mountain ash gums. What a bargain price with the supplied breakfast, which was plenty to fill and for morning tea also!

We stayed for 3 nights in June at Annie Roe's Penthouse Suite. It is a very comfortable apartment, which had a big kitchenette, and a very nice bedroom. The bathroom was spacious with a large double spa bath and a separate shower. The bathroom had an extractor fan but no heating, which I found unusual for a colder area. Breakfast provisions were provided in a lovely basket and were extremely generous. My only negatives about Annie Roe's were the maintenance issues. The Penthouse obviously had been updated but it needed to be repainted and holes filled in where doors had been replaced or removed, curtain rods replaced etc. Also there were no instructions for the split heating system and we found the central heating at night to be too hot. Having no electric blankets was a surprise even though extra blankets were supplied. One of the more important issues was that doors did not close properly, the bath room door did not close and the bi fold doors at the top of the stairs didn't shut at all. The views at night over the city were gorgeous and we were lucky to have clear nights. The free wifi was also very good. Overall we had a delightful stay. Thank you.
