Almost don't want to review or everyone will come here! Beautiful location, fantastic value for money and one of the cleanest, best kept rooms I've ever stayed in. Don't be fooled by the dated looking decor in the photos, the doona covers might look a bit 80's but this place is immaculate. The pics don't do it justice. Plus extra... More

Very unfriendly service ! George, the Emu is the nicest guy we met there. He should be the one in charge of the reception desk ! This place was the first time we had a bad reception since we arrived in Australia. I do not recomand that place.

we were lucky to spend 4 nights in our caravan in the camp ground of Little Desert Lodge this month. Others with us stayed in the 'motel like' accommodation. A meal in the dinning room was great with surprisingly extremely good food, presented well and tasted even better. (Temporary chef we heard). The area around the lodge is full of... More

We stayed one night at this Lodge. Room was big and well laid out. The area is quiet and relaxing. There is a nice walk around the Lodge area and a few native animals wandered about. Nice place to wind down from the road.

Beautiful bush land, wonderful wildlife encounters, peaceful paradise. Whimpey had real vision and was ahead of his time when he set this place up. A real surprise of the trip encountering this place. It is somewhat dated, old and in need of a revamp in the main lodge, but the rest of this 120 hectare wilderness and conservation site is... Great place to stay to see plenty of wildlife..kangaroos greated us at the gate and George the Emu walked past our room to say hello. On our bush walk saw lots of Roos and flora. Accomodation was comfortable - we had an inter connecting family room which was great for sharing with kids. We arrived late at night and were... More

Whilst the environment was very peaceful and it was possible to view the on site emu and kangaroos up close, our visit was spoilt by the lack of attention to the towels and sheets both of which had very obvious stains. In fact the sheets not only had a large back stain which I noticed immediately upon pulling back the... More
