Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a lovely little spot. Caravan park is small (sites are small and can be tight to get into) but the location more than makes up for it, besides the owners are more than happy to help you get into your site if needed. To be honest I didn’t have high expectations because I have a 6 and 7 year old who like caravan parks with facilities however their is a kiosk not even a 2min walk away providing ice creams and treats, a small park right next to the caravan park and a jetty to jump or fish off. And for the adults a pub serving cold beers and pub food across the road. Amenities were clean and tidy, no issues with hot water and I never had to wait for a shower or toilet and the park was full. Their are a few ensuite sites and even though we didn’t have one, I snuck a quick look and they looked like they had been recently renovated, very nice. They even have portable fire pits you can use at your site, that are free to use (we did buy firewood for them). All in all a lovely 4 night stay with honest, hardworking, lovely hosts 😀

This park has sites either side of the office and we were given a superb site in the smaller part of the park which had just five sites.
The site was well grassed, and due to the geography of the area was very private. The amenities block is situated in the other, larger, part of the park, which could be a drawback for some travellers.
Our stay here was very pleasant.
We were thrilled to see a koala on a low branch in the park.

After 120 kms walk on the GSWW we spent our last night there, the lady at reception was quick and organised to check us in. Very good. Nice spot, extremely clean facilities, very tasty rainwater, nice grassy area for the tent. Cheers guys

This is a top little caravan park. Neat, clean, grassy with its own jetty. Less than 100 metres to shop and Hotel. We stayed during Covid and were very reassured with all the protocols that were in place. Lots of walks and bike trails. Tinnie definitely gets a workout here.

A great little park. Friendly owners and great views. Only problem is the size of the park and layout. A little bit harder to manoeuvre bigger vans into the sites. A great place for smaller motor homes, camper vans and tents. A great country pub across the road with a very friendly owner.
I would stay here again.

On first stay of our Great Ocean Road trip, this was our first overnight stay and we loved it. It is a tiny caravan/tent park but this was perfect. Green Grass, very neat tidy, exceptionally clean facilities incl kitchen. Dog friendly and right on the river. Walking distance to local pub and boating hire. Great place for a retreat and the price was very reasonable. We'll be back ;)

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the glamping tent. ($70 per night for the glamping tent, $29 for powered sites, $21 for non powered sites). The tent has a very comfy queen size bed, bed side tables, a tv, small fridge and heater (we didn’t need the heater). There was also a private en suite toilet and shower directly beside the tent. It was pet friendly, and our dogs loved being so close to the river (so did we). The owners Deano and Patty were great to deal with. The entire grounds and camp cooking areas were immaculate. We have already booked our return visit. Highly recommended!

This park isn't huge by any stretch of the imagination but it is delightful. The owners offer everthing within its small confines. There is a glamping tent!! Ensuites if you want a bit of pampered privacy. A great camp kitchen with bbq's and a laundry. Everything is clean & tidy & the owners are lovely & friendly. It's also right next to the river & very central to quite a few local attractions.

Had great stay very friendly owners. State of the art facilities, very clean lovely lawns and garden. Overlooking the river, close to all attractions. The drive through the Forrest was beautiful, walking track well marked, fishing platforms and picnic areas along the river. The Information Centre is exceptional with plenty of advice and up to date information. A gem of a find. We will be back.

We stayed in our camper at River Vu for three nights and loved our stay. Patty and Dean looked after us like family. The park is only small but the location on the river was idyllic and peaceful. We were given access to the park's fishing jetty and enjoyed some slow hours trying to lure bream and mulloway to the hook.
