This was our first stay in Myrleford, we had a cabin in the Caravan Park and enjoyed our time there. Our reception on arrival was very pleasant and helpful, the cabin was very clean and well laid out, it was very well equipped and comfortable. The weather was very cold and dam but it didn’t take long for the heater to warm the cabin and from then on we were very comfortable.
Myrleford is a very nice town and the residents could not be more friendly giving us a very enjoyable time there.

Lovely, friendly service. Very affordable and I got a bonus discount for being a G'day Parks member! The cabin we stayed in was low-key but comfortable and warm, especially as it was a very cold winter weekend. Plenty of space and beds for the family. An easy short walk to the CBD. There is a large entertainment room with a fantastic set out camp kitchen which also has books, tv and games. The scenery is just beautiful.

This was the location for the last week of our 5 week holiday. Close to a plethora of places & activities, it is a great base to work out of without the huge price tag; a great value park.

The patrons in the park are very considerate & you walk 2 minutes to shops in the main street. We had 3 possums in the tree next to our van (mum, dad & baby) & while the dad was noisy the first night, we sat outside one night & spoke to the possums & never heard any noises the following nights. Maybe our chat reassured them that we were not a threat.

Good gold panning & fishing nearby, excellent wineries & produce. We will be back for sure!

The only downside can be the messy leaves from the trees, but they provide excellent shade & protection from the rain & wind.

Stayed in Snow Gum Cabin. When entering this accommodation, it reminded me of a 70’s transportable home that at sometime someone had used as a permanent home maybe and the fact that it has similar structures on either side and is away from other Cabins I think confirms this. Also having a bathroom/laundry with a washing machine says it all. Could do with a makeover, the baby blue paint on walls for a start need to go and all timber painted white and also day night blinds for privacy. The bedroom though spacious is very bare looking. The so called cabin overall is spacious with a decking but if I was to stay again I would choose a better cabin. Park is in a good location, within walking distance to town.

This is a lovely, spacious park, but sadly, almost deserted due to coronavirus. Lady at reception was very welcoming and very stoic, given the current CV issues and recent bushfires.
We were travelling in a caravan and had an en suite site, which was quite good, although the exhaust fan struggled, probably due to the outside temperature.
Weather was wet and miserable, and the town appeared to be struggling, with many businesses closed or on restricted hours. Accordingly, there was not much atmosphere in this most beautiful of locations. Same could be said of the surrounding towns.. So sad, as this is one of Victoria's "dress circle" regions.
Can't wait to revisit the town and park when the CV dramas have gone!
Excellent wifi reception

We have stayed in plenty of parks all over the east coast, and Northern Victoria, this is by far the nicest. Great shady drive though site ( #157) fantastic clean amenities, including the spanking new all in one ensuite type. Camp kitchen looks great but we didn’t need , shirt stroll to town. Reception was seamless and friendly. Will be back

Management are an absolute disgrace at this park, Booked 1 month in advance and arrived to hear our booking was cancelled as they "thought" that we may have too many people staying at the site. I was blown away, have 3 kids under 4 and I asked where can we stay then, she said "you can always go back to melbourne" So, cut a long story short, I was kicked out before I arrived. What a bunch of grumps, head to bright/porepunkah just down the road for a better experience.

Having been in lockdown for several months due to coronavirus, it was great to be able to return to one of our favourite caravan parks.

The caretaker managers Rhonda & Kevin were excellent and very accommodating.

The park has undergone several upgrades over the recent years.

The location to the centre of town is excellent and is the main reason we return year on year.

It’s always a great and relaxing stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a peppermint cabin, very nice modern cabin, not very big but most aren't. Wonderful large shower that you can actually turn around in, comfortable beds and all the things you need. The park was very busy but it was a long weekend so was expected, beautiful large shady trees along the happy valley creek, short walk to main Street of town, shops restaurants and bars. Friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stay when in Myrtleford.

Myrtleford as a location is a marvelous place to visit. For many years I would have highly recommended Myrtleford Holiday Park, then it was taken over by new owners. The new management has absolutely no interest in anything other than making money and their own interests. Our family were Annual park residents for over 30 years across multiple sites and have all vacated the park since new ownership took over. If you would like to visit this amazing town and stay at a park that cares about its vistors and the town, then go and stay at Arderns Caravan park instead.

when is the best time (month) to stay in autumn
Answer from Adventure821503
To be perfectly honest we have been here since September 18, but from all accounts May would be the time the leaves will drop according to what we have been told. We estimate for Autumn leaves April/May however Mother Nature does have a way to doing things her own way. We look forward to your visit.
