Detailed Reviews
We really enjoyed our two night stay here. It was conveniently located between everywhere we were planning to visit in the area, and very easy to find. We chose just the basic room, which we knew ahead of time did not have access to the shared kitchen. Cindy was very helpful emailing us ahead of our booking date to make sure that we were aware of this, and she also made a point of greeting us and saying goodbye when we left. The room itself was very comfortable and clean, as was as the ensuite bathroom. The room has a little refrigerator to store snacks and drinks, plus a kettle with a variety of teas and instant coffees (I greatly appreciated the herbal teas). We appreciated the complimentary chocolates and wine too. The gardens around the house are beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings before going out. I particularly loved the views of the night sky here as well. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was 7 days at Rosewhite House B&B. It was the most amazing experience & such a central location to most of the surrounding attractions & towns within 30-40 mins distance. On arrival we were welcomed with great warmth & friendly smiles by Cindy & Steve. The autumn trees, misty mornings, evening rising of the moon and surroundings of this incredible BnB were nothing short of breathtaking. The rooms are a generous size & immaculately clean with comfortable beds & with private ensuites, walk-in wardrobe, private balcony with table & chairs off the bedroom. The fully functioning kitchen & dining room facilities are excellent & a generous selection for breakfast included in the price catered for most dietary requirements. We loved every minute and were greeted every afternoon by Cindy to enquire about our day & where we went. We soon felt like part of the family & found it hard to leave. This BnB is a DEFINITE MUST . The complimentary bottle of local wine on arrival was enjoyable & the perfect added touch as a welcoming gift. Nothing was a trouble. Cindy & Steve are the perfect hosts and have created a beautifully warm, inviting & a perfect stay for all guests. We certainly intend going back to stay as it was such a memorable & wonderful experience. One day we stayed in & spent the whole day in the garden reading, having lunch, sipping champagne & just enjoying the ambience of this hidden treasure.

One of the best places for relaxing in country area. Mountaine view is amazing. House area is so quiet and we enjoy birds singing and breakfast in balcony.
It is just 10 min driving to Myrtleford and 25 min to Bright.
Thank you Cindy and Steve for your hospitality.

Rose White House is for those wanting a getaway. At 13 km out of Myrtleford, you see only cows in their pasture and hills in the distance. The house has roses and some are white. The host live down stairs and there three only guest rooms up an internal staircase. All the rooms have a balcony with the same idyllic view, but in my room the balcony door lock was broken. There is a shared communal kitchen with table and chairs for six. Breakfast is self help with cereal, bacon and eggs and yoghurt provided. There is Nespresso and instant coffee in the communal kitchen’ but no coffee in the bed room. Each bedroom has an ageing ensuite with good hot water. Rooms are not serviced during the stay. Wifi was good for us, but we were the only guests at the time

We were originally attracted by the view offered and that did not disappoint. However, three areas that were not up to par were the breakfast, wifi and hospitality. The accommodation is Bed and Breakfast and this appears several times in their blurb but reference to it being ‘a hamper’ only once. We have had hampers before and they can be good, this whole breakfast set up was disappointing. You are given an allocation of bacon, eggs, 1 piece of bread each and a little butter on a shelf on the fridge which is fine. No fresh fruit, peanut butter, vegemite or salt (the grinder was empty), just shared jars of jam which did not seem like great practice in COVID times. Only one room could cook breakfast at a time so we had to wait 30 minutes one morning to have access to the frypans etc. As there was no dishwasher you had to do your own washing up, this took time and highlighted different standards that people have and once again raised COVID safety concerns.
Wifi was non existent. We were told they had run out of data because of the number of guests visiting. I at least had Telstra, people in room next door had Optus, no reception and no way of seeking information/ maps re their next day.
We were never met by our hosts and only by coincidence saw Cindy as we were leaving after our two night stay.

Hello Peter, I am sorry that your stay was not to your liking. It is important to me that you enjoyed your stay and I am sorry that I missed your arrival because I would have said that if you needed anything, please let us know. We had an appointment in Albury and then a catch up with our grown children that night but had faith that you would have contacted us if there was any problem. I am sorry that you didn't alert me on that you needed more bread. I would have happily provided more. Funnily enough, I had been giving guests two slices each per day and throwing out so much bread that it I had reduced it to one slice per guest per day. You will be happy to know Peter that after reading your review I reverted back to allocating two slices per guest, per day. I would rather throw out bread than it be the cause of the unhappy review such as this. You need to know Peter that it wasn't a coincidence that I caught up with you on departure as I like to catch up with my guests to thank them for staying with us as they leave to give them a chance to give me any feedback, good or bad. You talked to me about the Wifi and you will be happy to know Peter that I took your feedback on board and have upgraded my Wifi and we have seen a big improvement in the service.

Cindy and Steve made us feel super welcome from the get go. Everything was neat as a pin, clean, tidy and the outlook and relaxing nature of the area was perfect for what we required. More than enough food for us to have a hearty breakfast before heading off hiking for the day.
Lovely location away from the highway cars and we loved the fact there was also lovely horses to feed and pat, as well as their dog who was more than happy for a pat! Would easily stay here again at the drop of a hat!!

We stayed in a large size and comfortable room with a very comfortable bed, stunning rural views and the price was about the cheapest we could find although the location is out of town (12km from Myrtleford).
The hosts Cindy and Steve are very welcoming and friendly.
We were a little confused by the term B&B when booking as we thought that meant that a prepared breaskfast was supplied. The breakfast is supplied but as a generous hamper and so needs to be cooked in the guest kitchen which could be a problem if guests in the other rooms want to cook at the same time. Once again no big deal just a little confusing.
About the only thing which disappointed us was that the room is not serviced daily which means guests staying more than one day need to be dry their towels on the backs of chairs for use the following day. Maybe spare towels left in the room in case?
Yes guests are advised to phone the hosts if anything is required but I don't want to do that late at night.
Complimentary bottle of wine was a bonus.

I came to Rosehwite House BnB as a corporate traveller, and Cindy and Steve made me feel like I was completely at home. Wonderful, warm, and friendly hosts with loads of great local knowledge who also go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are modern but warmly furnished and the beds amazingly comfortable. Electric blankets and extra bedding available for the colder nights. A full complement of breakfast items are available in your own fully equipped kitchen area, everything from loads of different cereals and muesli's, eggs, bacon, toast, OJ, yogurt and a complimentary bottle of locally sourced wine. The views from your room out across the valley are stunning and each room has it's own private balcony, just gorgeous. this place is a true gem, deliciously quiet at night for sleeping, but loads to do during the day and not far from the ski fields! I have been back twice now and cannot recommend this lovely haven highly enough. Thanks Cindy and Steve for a wonderful stay! See you in a few weeks for number 3!
