Detailed Reviews
Stayed overnight in this small but great park. Only about a half a dozen other vans in the unmanned park, the fees are collected by a nice lady who calls around at 5.30pm. The views are good looking over the lake and the facilities are spotless. Will call back again when we're in the area.

Excellent little park with 18 sites all with the water views of Lake Marma. Sites evenly placed either side of the ammenities block which was very clean and adequate for all our needs with laundry and camp kitchen.
$25 per night for powered site. Just a short walk or bike ride into the small Main Street of Murtoa. Lake is about a 1.8km walk and very picturesque especially at sunset.
Highly recommend the caravan park and the township of Murtoa.

I was at Murtoa for work, and stayed here in one of the new cabins. I really enjoyed this cabin overlooking the lake. For the first time in years I was able to put my feet up on the back deck overlooking the lake, and have a relaxing cold beer. It is a very quiet location, with no-frills but comfortable accommodation.

This is a small unmanned council park. We were only staying one night so we were hoping for a powered site where we could stay hooked up, unfortunately the park is only able to offer 1 site with power to stay hooked up but the power was at the end of a cabin and no water was available, so you have to unhook if you want to stay here. Nice view of the lake and park. Council employee comes around about 5pm each evening to collect $25, and note payment is only by cash! Apart from the stick shed nothing else to do here, pub was closed and buying fuel was by auto teller system, suggest you move on the Horsham

Just a small van park on side of lake. No office on site but lovely lady comes and collects fees about 5.30pm. Facilities are old but very clean. Approximately a dozen van sites with power and water. Good for a stop overnight.

Lovely little Caravan park situated right on Lake Marma in Murtoa. Stay 7 nights, get one free. Laundry facilities are great value at $2 per wash with free dryer. There is a beautiful walk around the lake and nice photos to be had when beautiful sunsets. This park is close to attractions such as the Brim Silos, Grampians, Horsham, Stawell and historical town of Warracknambeal. There is the 'Stick Silo' which is still in action and a great museum at the Water Tower. A real must and can easily fill in a week of activities. Host Keith will ensure your stay is comfortable and lives on site. Nice clean and peaceful.

Great facilities, and friendly staff!,
A fantastic spot for those seeking a thoroughly relaxed vacation. On the edge of the lake where you can fish, go yabbying, or put in a boat/canoe.
In town, there is a small supermarket and hotel, so there is no desperate need to go too far for provisions.
Pet friendly, and totally affordable.
My only criticism - the size of the site. We own a camper trailer that when fully erected covers 5mtrs x 7mtrs - this didn't leave any space for parking.

If you are in the this area do not miss staying at this lovely little caravan park. Power and water $20 a night. It is right near the lake and the views are beautiful. You can walk around the lake which i am told is 2kms. The war memorial is a short walk down this path which is worth a look. The amenities block are clean and well maintained, the showers wonderful. There is a mural in progress on the outside wall which is great now but when finished will be outstanding. There is a laundry with $2 washing machines and free use of a dryer. Nice little BBQ area. Everything about this park is lovey but the jewel in the crown in Keith the caretaker. He is friendly, helpful and a funny man. He goes that extra mile which makes a great deal of difference to weary travellers. Next time we will stay for longer.
