Gravbrot Lodge was an incredible stay at Mt Hotham, if your ever wanting a stress free getaway from the fast lane, Michael the manager answered each and all of our questions and helped us over and above what you'd expect to receive, I can't rate this place highly enough, the unmatched hospitality mixed with the accessible location along with the beautiful lodge made our stay an unforgettable time. The biggest thankyou to Michael from us and our son who had his first experience of snow.
Amenities were immaculate and we'll run, a short walk to the bus stop which takes you anywhere on the mountain. Meals cooked for you daily that were delicious, Michael is a professional chef of the highest order and caters to your wants and needs.
I'd stay here again in a heartbeat 🙌

It was such a delight and definitely a treat to stay in this lodge. With only 6 rooms this lodge is cozy and comfortable yet modern and with everything you need. The food was delicious for both adults and kids and it felt like a real holiday coming back from the slopes with the kids and being able to relax with a glass of wine next to the fire without thinking about cooking. Plenty of things for the kids including video games and board games to keep everyone entertained. Michael was amazing and so accomodating, being a father himself was so helpful as he understood the needs of a family with small children. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow. What can I say. This was our second stay at Gravbrot. We had the most amazing weekend. Weather was perfect. So many amazing families to socialise with. The kids were accommodated in every way, from games to play to cooking the kid’s favourite dinners. The lodge is clean and so cosy and warm. Michael is the most amazing manager, host and chef nothing is too much trouble, we LOVE him, he honestly makes the lodge what it is.
But the BEST part is the hot dinners every night, pre dinner nibbles, self serve breakfast with a coffee machine, hot soup and leftovers for lunch.
We never want our trip to end. See you in Spring, Gravbrot.

This was the first time I stayed here and I would highly recommend it. Conveniently located near the Jack Frost bus stop and only a walk from the General Pub!
All meals were included and they were really delicious. It made our stay so easy as we never had to worry about food and cooking and all diets were catered for. They even put dinner aside for us for our arrival Friday night as our long drive from Melbourne meant we missed dinner time.
Michael the lodge manager was really approachable and happy to answer any questions we had.
If your after an easy, breezy week or weekend away where you can sit back and relax and not have to worry about meal prep, Gravbot is your place. That way it's all about the slopes and the apres ski. Totally worth it!

Last minute choice to stay at Gravbrot, and it made the weekend absolutely perfect. The location is beautiful and so convenient to the buses and to be able to ski out directly across the road.
Cozy little lodge with a very comfortable common area, toasty fireplace, and ideal rooms for families, a group of friends, or a solo person like myself.
So thankful for all the breakfast and lunch options, as well as the pre dinner nibbles and delicious dinners cooked by the manager Michael. He's a wizard in the kitchen, and so friendly and accommodating.
Plus extra bonus points for the espresso maker for some great coffees.

We stayed at Gravbrot for two weeks at the beginning of the ski season, and I can honestly say that I’ll be back. The lodge is spacious and comfortable, rooms are perfectly adequate, the other guests inclusive and friendly.
Michael is the best host I’ve encountered in many years of travelling. Friendly, knowledgeable, great company, and best of all, an amazingly great chef.
All types of cuisine and all dietary requirements are easily accommodated, there’s always some tasty leftovers in the fridge. It’s such a good thing to come home from a day on the slopes to have someone cook for you!
Gravbrot is rightfully rated number one for Mt Hotham lodging.

We love coming to Gravbrot as a family. The warm and delicious meals cooked by the manager/chef Micheal are always appreciated after a day on the slope. The bathrooms and rooms are clean and well heated. It’s a very friendly lodge and we have enjoyed making friends over dinner and around the fireplace!

Gravbrot is a fantastic lodge and Michael the manager is so friendly. This is an absolute winner. Welcoming vibes from all the members and guests, cosy lounge area, great kitchen, warm bathrooms and bedrooms, clean as a whistle. Coming home from the slopes to warm gourmet meals is an utter treat. Ditto waking up to Brekky options. No matter the state of the snow you’ll have a fantastic time at Gravbrot. Thanks for having us Michael and Lecki, we’d love to come back!

I could rave about this place all day, the ski lodge vibes you’ve dreamed of!! Location ideal- discounted gear hire just down the road regular free bus everywhere. storage, drying room, couches to chill out, fire, clean bathrooms, individual space for hanging luggage. Yes it is only a bed in a shared 4 person dorm but heck the value is unmatched.
Last and the best point of it all Micheal cooking up a fam style dinner chatting to everyone at the lodge. Lunch and breaky self serve style.

This little lodge packs a big punch. It's warm, it's cosy, its got great atmosphere, and the lodge manager makes everyone feel so welcome that you can't help but feel at home. Meals are great, food is plentiful, and kids are well catered for.
