Great location for a summer bushwalking trip. It has a good location, plenty of facilities (fridge, stove tops, storage, & games), with plenty of space to relax in comfort. It is also close to the car parking area.

Beautiful nature, with great hiking tracks. We were lucky to get plenty of snow early April and made the trip even more fun.
Close to Melbourne, I highly recommend as weekend getaway.
Stayed at EdSki lodge, affordable, great hospitality, and has everything you might need.

Great place, while a small lodge apparently it is the biggest on the mountain with lovely rooms which are booked out privately rather than dorm-style, it is clean and homeley with a great atmosphere and shared facilities including a large lounge with pool table, ping pong amongst other things and also a completey separate tv room so the kids can do their thing while the adults do their thing without disturbing each other.
The bedrooms are on the top floor which is great because the sound from the lounge doesn't interrupt those sleeping as it does when it is the other way around after an exhausting day out on the pretty slopes of Baw Baw.

It also has exceptional heating, which is essential to defrost a

There's a great view from all rooms I saw and it is right near the carpark, which is ideal if you are carting lots of beer and boards!
The style of the lodge makes it ideal for families or for large groups travelling together.
Will definitely be back and back again for many years to come!

EdSki is a very comfortable and inviting lodge. The massive open-plan kitchen/living/dining area is a real winner for large groups and couples alike. Very convenient location right by the main car park, and a 5 minute walk to the village. Stunning views from the wraparound balconies. All ages are well catered for - puzzles, toys, board games, books, table tennis and pool table all provided. The accommodation is dormitory style; with rooms sleeping from 2 to 5 people on a variety of bunks, singles and doubles. I've been numerous times with family and/or friends and they all loved it.

We have stayed at Edski Lodge a couple of times now for mountain biking and found it to be very good value for money. The place i warm and has a good feel about it with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of dining room space as well as plenty of lounge chairs in the common area.
If you want good value for money and dont mind using a common kitchen/dining are then this is the place.
We will definitely continue using Edski Lodge when visiting Baw Baw.

Edski Lodge is a great an affordable accomodation. We stayed there for two nights and everything was very well maintained. My only complaint was the limitation of the central heating system... It is only turned on during certain hours of the day which the rooms bitterly cold at night during the winter season. However, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap but decent accomodation at Mt Baw Baw.

Spent 4 nights here with our 3 kids. Had a fantastic stay! For the price, this was excellent value for money, esp coming mid week. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, plenty of games, ping pong and snooker for the kids. Bedrooms were comfortable. Though further from the slopes than most of the other lodges, the resort itself is not too big, so for our teenage kids, this was not such a problem. Only complaint was the heating only comes on at certain times. Our last night was FREEZING and couldn't sleep, and the heating turns off at 10pm and doesn't come on again til 6am. There's also no heating on during the day. Although you can light a fire downstairs in the common room, it's not enough to warm the room. The windows not being double glazed or sealed well, means the's a draft when the wind is strong, making the rooms extremely cold. Other than that, we had a great stay and would love to come back

Hello Denise I am glad that you had a fantastic stay except for the cold night. We have taken on board a few comments from guests that it does get cold during the night and are now in the process of having the heating schedule adjusted to try and ensure guests comfort especially at night. We will also ensure that our lodge manager lights the fire and keeps it running during the day so that the main area retains the heat for when you come back in. Hopefully we will see you staying again with us soon.

I stayed here with 9 others in my group and we had the whole place to ourselves. This is a lodge that you hire out a room and the full use of the lodge - kitchen, toilets, showers, lounge, dining room, etc all shared. We stayed the last week in May 2013 and even though there was no snow and it rained non stop the whole weekend and the fog was soo thick you couldn't see past the trees - it was a great place to keep warm and get away from the 'day to day living'.

Rooms were more than adequate - we had a room with 4 single beds (bunks) but there are rooms with 3 singles or double & 1 single, 1 double or 5 singles. The showers were hot and plentiful. The wood fire was perfect as was the heating throughout the lodge. At times it got too hot and we had to open the outside doors to let some cool air in!

Heaps of room in the 3 fridges, 2 ovens, 2 sinks. Except for food and personal belongings - everything else was there for us to use and enjoy.
The tv room was downstairs and felt like a dungeon so we didnt go there. Free wifi so hooked up the laptop and usb and kids watched tv in the main area.

Fantastic price and well worth the 3 hour drive from melbourne.
Will go again but not in peak season - as i don't care for snow.

Edski is a warm, cosy, well appointed and very reasonably priced ski lodge very near the main car park at Mt Baw Baw. It is perfect base for walking groups outside the ski season with good kitchen facilities, efficient heating and beautiful views of the surrounding bush.
