Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This review is more to do with the restaurant. The food and presentation is first class. Would highly recommend this place to have a fantastic meal. The waiter/ bartender Sebastian is outstanding. Truly hope that he gets the recognition and salary that he deserves. Three staff on duty for the evening service. Two looking busy and doing nothing. Sebastian was preparing drinks and serving. Taking meal orders and delivering them. The wine menu is limited. But thank you Sebastian.

Went as a group of 20, really poor service, stay anywhere but here, was previously The Vibe. Now not worth it, caravan Park is better. Was so much better as the vibe, has certainly gone down hill. Over priced not value for money, needs new owners

This is a serene retreat just 90 minutes from Melbourne, nestled in the quiet town of Marysville. The hotel features an outdoor pool, fitness centre, and restaurant. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Marysville town centre and offers complimentary unlimited WiFi and free parking. We booked the Superior King Room, which included a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The room boasted amenities such as air conditioning, a seating area with a flat-screen TV, and a comfortable bed, making our stay both luxurious and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

Drove into Marysville with no preconceived expectations and were surprised by this hidden jem in the hills outside Melbourne. Stayed at Peppers which was built in 2015 after the devastating 2009 fires. Staff were welcoming and polite. Rooms were clean and great views. Very well catered breakfast. Lots to do in town and around the area. Had an afternoon drink in the bar called Andiamo and were very well looked after Em. Thank you all. We had a great break and would return again.

I arrived for a one-night stay with a friend for a weekend getaway in Marysville. The design and cleanliness of the could not be faulted. However, dinner in the hotel restaurant was severely underwhelming. I had the $40 Beef Cheek which was so salty it was barely edible. The "garlic bread" ($13) was just a single turkish bread roll that was cut into four pieces and spread with butter. The vegetables ($13) was just steamed broccolini contained no seasoning at all and was completely. I find it hard for those prices to be justified, particularly for the sides. The restaurant then tried to charge us for drinks that were already paid for at the bar. The most disappointing of the weekend was the $5 charge to the room on check-out. We were shocked to learn that this was because my friend had the audacity to use a teabag that was already in the room. We are not talking about gourmet tea here either, just a standard teabag. There is no signage within the room that would indicate that tea and coffee were not complimentary and something that is standard in almost all hotel venues. To charge a whole $5 for a single basic teabag is not only greedy, but also quite deceptive to not indicate anywhere that you are being charged for tea and coffee in the room only to find out on check-out.

Me and my friend spend two days at Peppers Marysville. We booked the deal through luxury escape. The place is really nice and well maintained. The room is spacious enjoy with really comfy beds. I can't recommend when I had such a comfy bed when travelling. The resort has a small gym, sauna and an outside pool and tenniscourt. Nice breakfast and nice restaurant for dinner. The staff in the resort and restaurant were amazing, particularly Nino at the restaurant was great, remembered our names and had a good chat. I definitely recommend the place to anyone and hopefully will come back there myself one day.

Great hotel and location I am an Accor + member so took advantage of a great package stay. Stayed 2 night, room clean and comfortable well equiped. Staff not exiting or overly friendly but pleasant. Would stay again but perhaps in a balcony room as it felt a bit stuffy during the night.

Our room was so lovely, very comfortable, modern and spacious. The whole hotel is so beautiful with lots of areas to relax and unwind. All staff go out of their way to help you feel so welcome and enjoy your stay. The restaurant has a lovely touch with a cosy open fire and spacious open feel. Both dinner breakfast were delicious with lots to choose from. We would have liked to use the pool but was a little too chilly being outdoor. Thank you to all for a wonderful stay.

The location is great, straight across the road from the Lake Mountain shuttle. Our room was warm and cosy - perfect for winter! Food wise we only had the buffet breakfast but the small selection was good and changed daily. Less good was the layout - all the bridges ?! , signs towards the cafe that we followed only to have to ask reception. Also the outdoor pool in the winter 🥶

We stayed there for 4 nights and our stay was memorable even though the weather wasn't that great at Marysville. The hotel staff is helpful, courteous and prompt. Their housekeeping is also great, and made sure the room is neat and clean everyday. The restaurant staff were also super helpful, the breakfast buffet was smaller than other hotels but had all we needed. The location is great and you have a few restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The lake mountains is a short drive away. I highly recommend it if you craving for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
