My sister and I stayed in Kingfisher cottage for 3 nights, to explore Marysville. Dalrymples is a delightful setting with beautiful autumn leaves all around us. We parked the car and walked to everything: cafes and restaurants, Info Centre and Art Space, Gallipoli Park, Bruno's Sculpture Garden and several of the nearby walks. The cottage was very spacious and comfortable, and having 2 bedrooms with ensuites suited us perfectly. We enjoyed mild weather, but will return to enjoy the open fire in the colder months. The contactless check-in and arrival information was great, with key code, driving directions and even a map of the property with cottages marked. The welcome letter also listed various eateries and tourist information items which made it very easy to settle in and start exploring. Every minute of our stay was a delight.

We stayed in the kingfisher suite and we absolutely loved it. So peaceful. Loved listening to the birds in the morning and early evening. Short walk to the town centre. Marysville in itself is such a beautiful town. Also a short walk to Bruno’s art and sculpture garden. That is a must see. I will definitely be back and hopefully stay here again. Definitely recommend.

Stayed in the Kingfisher cottage for a mid-week break in March that we had been forced by COVID to reschedule multiple times. Sharen and Terry were very accommodating with each change. Kingfisher is at the back of the property and surrounded by trees and greenery - very private. The layout is perfect for 1 or 2 couples with a spacious open kitchen, dining room and lounge area. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room includes a wood fire place. We were surprised by how new the cottage looked - hardly any wear and tear despite being in operation since 2012. Spoke of care and attention by the owners. There are a few places in Victoria we go back to year after year because of the quality of the accommodation and location (Apollo's View in Skenes Creek and The Evening Star in Wandiligong). We're adding Dalrymple Cottages to that list. A stay here is highly recommended. Note that the restaurant and food store options in Marysville are limited and you're advised to bring supplies to use the well kitted out kitchen in the cottage.

Staying in Robin's Nest for 2 nights, we couldn't have asked for a nicer base from which to explore Marysville and the surrounding region. Immaculately presented, the accommodation was serenely comfortable and being fully stocked with essentials a very easy stay. A short walk to beautiful gardens and walking trails, Dalrymples is also a great base to ride or drive up to the most stunning falls and not far away from other notable locations in the town itself like Bruno's Art and Sculpture Garden (did we spot on in the front yard?). It's amazing how beautiful the whole area is just a decade on from the devastating 2009 fires. A testament to the local community - Dalrymples included. Situated not far from Healesville and the vines of the Yarra Valley, there are no end of options for your stay here, and it couldn't be done from a nicer spot.

I spent many childhood holidays in Marysville but had not returned since the 1980s and certainly not since the fires. I was amazed as to how the town and countryside had recovered and was as beautiful as I remembered. The cottage, we stayed in The Bower, was just perfect. Immaculately clean and with everything you needed for a weekend away. The bed was comfortable and the living area had lovely couches and the bathroom was spotless. I will not wait another 30 years to return to Marysville and I will certainly go back to Dalrymples. I could not fault it at all.

We stayed here with another couple. The amenities were excellent and the ambiance was great. Two bedroom on either side of the cottage with seperate bathrooms. One has a huge spa in it. Having the fire going while looking out the big windows, looking at the changing colour of the leaves, we really enjoyed Dalrymple Cottages. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and a warm doona. Very comfortable robes for everyone and we were set for the weekend. You can walk to the best restaurants in town as well as all the shops. Very happy to recommend to our friends and we would gladly stay again.

We loved this place so much it’s our new favourite! What an awsome place. The cottage we stayed in blew us away when we walked in. So spacious and beautifully decorated and the owners have truely thought of everything! Even a night light when you walk into the bathroom of a night time turns on.. everything is so clean and the spa bath is huge and so beautiful, the amazing breakfast hamper we got was full of all home made goodies and made that personal touch so welcoming. The couch was super comfy the wood fire was allready to be lit with plenty of wood there for us. The bed was comfy the view was pretty the DVDs at the front desk that you can choose are all those beautiful touches! Thanks we absolutely loved our stay and will tell all our friends and family about this hidden gem!

We stayed in the Robins nest cottage for 2 nights, as a snow weekend. We were not disappointed. The rooms was beautiful, and we particularly liked have the HUGE spa to relax in after a day on the mountain. The breakfast hamper was well worth the visit aswell. It was a very easy visit and the room had everything we needed. Dalrymples obviously pay a lot of attention to the finer details. It was also well positioned being a short walk to the Main Street.

My son, daughter in law and I stayed two nights in the Honeysuckle 2 bedroom cottage last month, what a lovely comfortable cottage. Nothing was missed which included wood for the wood fire and all set to light, which we did on the second night. Bathrooms were very clean, bedrooms spacious, comfortable bed. Definitely recommend staying here and will do so when we go back for a mini break as it is so close to everything.
