Just loved this park!!
From the moment we booked until we drove out the gate we felt welcomed!
The park managers Julie and Andrew were fabulous and very accommodating 😊 The caravan sites were generous and the amenities spotless!! The park itself is so beautiful with the water running right through the middle and the birds are abundant and extremely friendly 😂.
The town is only a short stroll away with everything you need. The Duck Inn pub is delightful and great food as is the bakery and Fraga’s Cafe. The Lolly Shop is fantastic for those with a sweet tooth and Bruno’s Sculpture Garden is a must!! For those exercise enthusiasts, this place is a dream with so many biking and walking tracks👍
Steavenson Falls is a great attraction for day and night viewing and Lake Mountain is just a short drive or bike ride away😊

Just love this place and I’m sure you will too 😊

I don’t normally like caravan parks. I’m now a convert, at least for this one. We were able to take our two Aussie Shepherd doggies.
We camped in an unpowered site. Near a beautiful running creek. It was a big site with empty space to three sides. Fire pits. Plenty of tables and chairs.
Clean showers with plenty of hot water. Clean toilets too.
Camp kitchen was well equipped.
For two of us, with two doggies was $40 per night. That sounds a bit much for basically a patch of grass, but the location next to town, the amenities and the crystal clear creek running straight through made it a wonderful long weekend. We’ll be back for sure.

Stayed four nights. Clean ammenities and barbecues. Campfires are permitted with wood available at the park. Top location in Marysville as only a short walk to the local hotel and other cafes for meals if you don’t with to cook. Very peaceful sitting by the creek.

Way overpriced. $135 a night for a powered site over Easter. Also a minimum of 5 nights which was impossible for most. They want a sizeable deposit and no refunds if for some reason you can’t make it, despite the fact that they rebooked the sites. Greed at its best,

This is a very beautiful campsite and our holiday started wonderfully with the friendly manageress helping us get a good site.

We sat in the river each day and made friends with some fantastic people around us.

Then on the last day a man appeared saying I owed him $140 as my plug in hybrid Outlander SUV was plugged into my caravan charging. The campsite is advertised on the PlugShare website as being “EV friendly”.

I immediately unplugged and explained it was nearer a $2 cost to charge (9kw usable battery x 25 cents a kw) and he said that was insult and got very aggressive and said he was banning me from coming back.

He squared up to me a few times as if to hit me and the kids had to be usher away by my poor wife.

The nice manageress appeared and told him to calm down, I learnt this man was the manager and she explained they don’t take evs or plug in hybrids and had no idea why they were on PlugShare.

I told her my kids were afraid of the manger and he immediately said “They haven’t seen nothing yet!”. Again the manageress told him to calm down.

So with that threat I decided to leave the holiday with the manager sat in his car with the engine running, staring at me with a grin on his face, doing his best to be intimating.

Not sure what went wrong. A video of the whole episode could be used in a customer service training video of what not to do when running a business.

Such a shame as a good location, but without a calm and friendly manager steering the ship this place is on borrowed time as a business.

Way too greedy. Campsite over Easter for a family of five was $765.00! They have a 5 night minimum and $15 per extra person per day whether they are there or not. By Monday afternoon the campground was only half full as people had to return for work but they still kept their money.
To top it off the manageress is rude and inconsiderate.

It’s a very good place for camping by tent or any other form. They have cabins, villas or spaces for caravans as you need.
The showers and toilets are very clean and organized, laundry room, kitchen and drinkable water are available. Also the supermarket, bars and restaurants are in a walking distance.

Really pretty campsite with a small shallow creek running through it that kids love to play in. It’s pet friendly and you can enjoy a campfire.

Cabins are of varying quality but the one we stayed in was an older two bed style. The beds were comfortable and electric blankets a nice touch. Bathroom was modern and clean so was a pleasant stay.

I’d say they could equip the cabin kitchens a little better with things like serving plates or bowls.

It’s not often you look forward to a stay in a beautiful town on the road back to recovery after the devastating bushfires that claimed so many lives.

We decided to scout the township prior to placing our booking. Immediately falling in love with the Main Street with a peaceful stream nearby.

That’s when it all went wrong! We walked to the caravan park and was standing on common land at the entrance trying to assess if it was worth going ahead and placing a booking.
From the outside the park seemed to have everything going for it. We are new to camping/caravanning being converts since covid so our expectations are realistic.

That’s when the verbal abuse started from the female “owner/attendant”. Instead of inviting us into the park to promote a future stay, she berated us over a fence for being approximately 1 meter beyond two poorly placed and sized signs.

We went into the office despite this as we were still keen to place a booking, having only looked up the site and had firm dates which we knew were available.

She continued her rant without break until my wife spoke up after 4 minutes to say we saw no signs. This escalated the situation beyond all reason or sense.

She even had the nerve to say to myself that I must be embarrassed of my wife purely because I hadn’t risen to the owners behaviour. (Mainly because I had still wanted to stay at the park!)

We obviously left without issue but hearing her in the background cry out ‘this is what I have to deal with!”

I don’t know who her performance was for but as a potential customer my only warning is to run away quickly, don’t waste your time or effort.

I consider us lucky to find out before booking from afar instead of arriving for a Holliday and have a truly horrible time being overseen by such a tyrant.

I rolled in there at 8pm one night after a long day in the bike. The owners, even though they had closed for the day, came and chatted and kindly found me a site to rest my weary body.
Then, the next day after I decided to stay and explore the trails, they found me a spot again .... even though they technically had no more space.
I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.
