"Land of adventure" Mansfield Country Resort is set on 35 hectares of bushland and is within easy reach of the most spectacular Victorian countryside and breathtaking high country. Resort facilities include BBQ areas, children’s playground and pool, convenience store, games room, gymnasium, spa, sauna, squash court, swimming pool, tennis court and mini golf. Local attractions include the Mt Buller Ski Fields which are just 50 minute drive from the resort, historic townships, wineries, festivals and rodeos, horse rides into the magnificent high country, bush walks and 4 wheel driving.

Mansfield Country Club covers all bases. Its a comfortable and quiet location set in among the gum-trees , a truly Aussie setting. The neighbours were very friendly, yes, the kangaroos visited us and grazed in our back yard every night. The sulphur crested cockatoos also visited us daily. The units are all very good, self-contained with WIFI and large TV's with access to Netflix if you wish. A couple of draw-backs for some- could be the fact that this time-share is 13 or so kilometres from the nearest town of Mansfield. (That's a fair way for a good pub meal.) The other minor annoyance for us was the TV was very tempermental to turn on but with a little bit of inventiveness we got it working. Firstly, turn it off and on at the wall. Then press on button for about 20 seconds, then press Netflix for s few seconds, and finally press Live TV...works every time. Reception were very friendly and helpful. We really liked Mansfield Country Club and will return.

We returned a few days ago from a very nice week at the resort. The resort has been there quite a lot of years and we stayed there about 8 years ago, place is still in good nick. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit, full kitchen with all you need to be self sufficient. Free wifi worked well as did everything else. Good pool area, indoor spa, there is also an adult only spa and sauna which you book in advance for periods of a hour, we used that most days. The resort is well spread out on the slopes above Lake Eildon, it is nice walking beside the lake. Lots of birdlife and kangaroos, this time of the year there were lots of Joeys too. The resort is about 14 ks. Out of Mansfield an easy drive, nice and quiet. There was a meet and greet one late evening and a pancake breakfast organised by the resort staff, they are good times to meet other guest and share information and holiday tales. You can also find out then what is happening at the resort and in the area, staff can help you with bookings etc. You could just amuse yourself at the resort on your stay or venture into the nearby towns , plenty of walking tracks about and the long rail trail. You can go canoeing in the lake , the resort has canoes to use. There is a games/ lounge room with TV and the office area has a few food items to buy and ice creams. We really enjoyed the week.

Our lakeside villa had exceptional views of Lake Eildon. You could just sit in the lounge room, with the door open and drink in the tranquillity. Great unit set up with 2 bedrroms - en-suite to master and a trundle bed in the twin room. Great kitchen set up with full oven which made cooking so easy. It was such a lovely time we booked another week here just 7 weeks after we returned. Only negative was how far away the pool complex was from the units.

Beautiful country location about 15 mins out of Mansfield. Owners are very friendly. Cabin (we were in one of the newer cabins #49) was very well equipped, comfortable, warm and tidy. Having 2 bathrooms was an unexpected bonus. You are right on lake Eildon and have kangaroos grazing at your front door. Apparently the Wi-Fi only works near the office, however we got excellent reception on Aldi mobile, both for phone and internet.

Mansfield Country Resort is a peaceful, beautiful place perched on the banks of Lake Eildon in the foothills of the beautiful Victorian high country. The units are mostly separated dwellings, very well spaced apart. They are extremely well equipped with furniture, appliances and utensils to make your stay very comfortable and convenient. The cleanliness of our unit was impeccable. The highlight of our holiday was booking 2 tours with High Country Scenic Tours through the resort. Both these tours took us through high country we never would have been able to access without a 4WD, taking us through rugged bush tracks to beautiful waterfalls, mountain summits and lookouts with stunning views and to the iconic Craig's Hut and "jump" location from "The Man From Snowy River". We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Mansfield Country Resort and highly recommend it!

A good size unit with adequate facilities. Would have liked a TV in the main bedroom as well, TV in the lounge room quite small. Resort facilities very good. The wildlife everywhere added to the experience. Waking to kangaroos feeding outside the windows was a great. The views over Lake Eildon and surrounding hills just beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay at Mansfield. The resort grounds are extensive, the units very spacious and the wildlife ( birds and kangaroos) are very special. There is lots to see and do in the area and the resort provides a comfy oasis to return to after a day of exploring.

A most enjoyable place to stay if you want to get away from crowds and noise. Away from Mansfield but close enough to get everything you need. Had plenty of facilities to keep you entertained if you were happy to stay at the resort

This place has everything that is needed for a enjoyable and relaxed stay in the country, close to a great country town in Mansfield, what more would you want. Mansfield Golf Club great place for dinner, also the Mansfield Hotel, some nice shops for browsing too. .

A very tranquil and relaxing resort with so many activities to do with the kids. Lovely and friendly staff who very helpful and warm since my arrival. I can't fault the unit which was very clean with all the necessities. Very cozy and enjoyed the indoor family spa as well as the new spa and sauna.
