Adobe flats, lovely hosts Peter and Margaret have been providing us with a wonderful holiday escape for years. Initially in 1983 we went with kids who loved our annual trips and us as a couple these days. A stunning view, koalas, kangaroos, lyrebirds around the houses, rainbow lorikeets and so many other species flocking to your decking. Great access to boating, swimming, bushwalks, picnic spots and delicious Lucy's restaurant nearby. A heavenly holiday spot. Heavenly!
Fantastic. We are long term frequent visitors to Mallacoota and this is our first stay here. The original cottages business has been split and sold on to new hosts. We are staying in the honeymoon cottage which is a large mudbrick studio with bathroom attached including full bath as well as shower. The room has a patio overlooking the lakes and an upstairs outside gallery for an even bigger view. Very nicely fitted out and a welcome change from the usual caravan park cabin style of accommodation. This is an absolute bargain at around 100aud per night. We have a semi tame male Lyrebird at the back door, first time I have ever seen that, and beautiful parrots demanding birdseed at the front sliding glass onto the deck/patio. We were met by a welcome bottle of wine and a visit from the manager to check that all was good.... All low key and helpful, Strongly recommended.…
Lovely views. Clean and nice walks around area. Host very friendly. We chose these flats so we could take our dog. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of room . Only a short drive into the town.
Our stay at Adobe flats was just wonderful. One night was definitely not long enough and we will be going back! Margaret and Peter are so friendly and passionate about the local wildlife. Would highly recommend this comfortable, cosy and inviting accommodation. The views are spectacular!
Mallacoota is a very relaxing place to spend a week or 10 and do some fishing, bird watching, photography or just relaxing. Adobe is 100% the best place to stay. Peter and Margaret are wonderful hosts.
