Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good facilities, polite caretaker, great powered grassy site only $20 per night, nice and quiet away from main highway Has a book swap in laundry. Town is a little sleepy but great silo art. would recommend this park highly.

on our way back to S.A. Stopped for two nights on good grassy site. So many drought affected areas in NSW and Vic have all but lost what was once well established grassed sites - this was a welcome bonus. Old amenities but clean and no broken tiles, toilets - all in good condition. However I was surprised to find the 'camp kitchen' has only shade cloth walls and is open to the elements at both ends. Slope on adjacent grassed section causes dirt and rain run-off to flow across the interior floor and wind sends rainwater all over the rest. Pity that council could not budget enough $ to rectify this especially as winter is such a cold, wet time of year. We would return but not during the winter season.

Nice overnight stop.Power and water provided. Clean amenities. But is the price not quite right? Maybe the $$ could have been a little less for what is there. Walking distance to Main Street .. Staff friendly

We stopped here on our way to Melbourne thinking it may be noisy but we were pleasantly surprised. Small park $26 night on a honour payment, clean amenities. Very quiet and short walk into town. Dog friendly, no cabins.

Excellent small park for a one nighter or a few days rest. Has sites with power or without. The whole park is very well maintained, great showers, toilets and laundry. And a lean to camp kitchen (this could do with some improvement). Also has a modern dump point. Cost of powered site was $26. Nice gardens and great country views. A credit to the town.

There are not caretakers but an honestly box - I would hope everyone is honest as this is a week maintained park with everything you need. Grassy sites, laundry, quiet and the town have lots of facilities. At $26 per night it is excellent.

Great spot for an overnight stay on nice grassy sites, good hot showers, clean basic facilities in a quiet street. You don't need to book, first come first served so we were very happy to get a spot when arriving late on our way home.

Peaceful simple setting. Honesty box or pay at the next door pool, the staff were friendly. Need to pay cash. Facilities old, basic but clean. All you need for a quick overnight stop however there was a family group set up that seemed there for longer and some Dutch travellers who were working locally who had been there 3 weeks and seemed entrenched and comfortable. Easy walk to Main Street. Dump point easily accessible. Would stay again whilst in transit Adelaide to Melbourne.

A nice little council run park that has all the necessary facilities. Great place to break the drive between these two capital cities. $26 dollars get you a powered site for the night and a dump point should you need it. On the edge of town you are back from the highway and overlook farm lands as far as you can see. Council pool is right next door should the weather be right for swimming. No booking, just drive on in. Only two other vans here when we arrived.

Council run, this park is just perfect as a stop over from Melbourne to Adelaide. Grass sites, clean amenities and walking distance to Main Street for a meal. $25pn for 2 adults, powered. It's back from the main road however you will always get truck noises in these small towns - just need to accept that. Cheap laundry, very basic and not really useable camp kitchen. Maybe if you were in a tent and no money to buy takeaway you might be tempted to use the rusty pots and pans. Dump point for grey and black water on site which is very handy. The park is right next to the swimming pool. Pay the lady at the pool for your stay.
