Very comfortable and modern. Plenty of eateries are a short walk away, and across the road and through some scrub is the beach. Room 1 has direct access to the pool, which might be a bit off-putting since it is accessible to all guests right outside your sliding door. Sauna and jacuzzi also available indoors

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked a perfect place to stay. Room was a good size, very comfortable bed, but the huge deck overlooking the park and road was excellent. And a wonderful pool beside it was heavenly. But then there was the sauna and hot tub inside!!! Bliss. And so easy to just stroll down the street into the shopping and eating area of the town, a definite keeper for next time we visit Inverloch.

A beautiful place as a temporary home. Michael was friendly to chat with. A short walk to the beach and town for food.
We hired the spa room which was spacious, clean and well maintained. Light breakfast was simple and satisfying.
I would highly recommend this accomodation.

Beautiful property with many extras. Large spacious bedroom with great views and private balcony. Crisp white robes in the room which were great to come and go to the lovely spa and pool.
Although everything else was tip top our mattress in the penthouse was terrible. We woke up after the first night hardly being able to move because our backs were so sore. We were supposed to stay two nights but by 5pm my husband and myself decided to leave as we couldn’t face another night in the bed before driving home. Hopefully the mattress will be replaced and then it will ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Checked in with Chris, stayed 2 nights, and never saw her (or her husband) again until checkout. We felt a bit like intruders in someone's home, but our expectations may have been unrealistic. Eugenie's is referred to as a "boutique hotel," not a B&B.

Our room was clean, but rather small and not very functional. No luggage stand so luggage had to be opened on the floor or bed. The sparse "continental breakfast" was left in the mini-fridge in our room, not served in a communal breakfast room, so there was no opportunity to visit with other guests. The chairs were way too low for our extremely tiny table. The top hit just below chin level so I had to eat with the cereal bowl on my lap. (A table on our outside deck was always wet in the morning). The bath door was an irritating accordion style and we never knew exactly which way it opened and closed. On the plus side, the bed was decent, room was quiet, and both bath and bedside lighting were good. We didn't use the pool, but spouse enjoyed the sauna.

Inverloch dining choices were limited. The well-regarded Japanese restaurant was temporarily closed. We stopped to check the menu at Velo Nine, and the man we talked to was so grumpy and unfriendly that we decided against it. Chutney's was fine for a quick, inexpensive dinner. The second night we had a lovely dinner at the RACV: delicious food and good service from friendly Chloe, complete with kangaroos wandering the grounds. Wish we had stayed there.

At $250 a night Eugenies is not cheap, but as it's billed as the premiere accomodation in Inverloch we were more than prepared to pay for what we got and I have to say we left this accomodation somewhat disappointed. You can almost taste how spectacular it could be - and the architecture and views ARE amazing but someone needs to spend some money on it soon to get it back up to scratch.

The good:
We stayed in the Penthouse and the views are every bit as great as they are billed. There is something wonderful about laying in bed watching the waves roll in. The location is great and walking distance to everything. The owners are friendly and the house itself is architecturally beautiful. The penthouse deck would be a fantastic spot to sit in summer.

The bad:
No hot breakfast (although to be fair the cafes are 5 mins away so this is easily remedied). The room was on the small side - which could easily be remedied by removing the enormous walk in robe. Wooden stairs meant quite a bit of noise carried into the room when guests were leaving/returning.

The ugly:
The carpet is stained and past it's use by. Didn't like the lack of a proper doona cover - two sheets laid over a doona may be quick to make but inevitably they move during the night and each guest ends up touching to doona itself (yuk). Furniture is fairly dated.

Overall - we'll be looking for alternatives on our next trip.

Stayed overnight on our way from Lakes Entrance to Lorne. Would have loved to stay longer. Quaint little town with lots of walks around the water. Our room was very comfortable and relaxing. Bathroom was modern and the whole place very clean & tidy. Off street parking and hosts made us feel very welcome. Continental breakfast included was appreciated. Great views from the room and balcony. Would recommend & stay again for longer if in the area. Large heated spa looked inviting but not enough time.

We stayed overnight at Eugenie's, the heated pool was cold, which was the main reason for booking this room, The Bathroom needed a good clean and a update. Grout was very grotty. We were not informed that the pool was cold , the room was very expensive for what it was, and not having the pool available to use.

We had the penthouse for the view and privacy - lots of steps but worth it.
Great bed and pillows and fabulous deck with views to die for.
Best part was leaving the car parked all week and walking - only over the road to the beach and miles of foreshore - crystal clear water and great swimming. Just out of town centre but close enough to walk to all restaurants and shops. Breakfast provided is basic but more than enough. Hottest sauna, great hot tub and swimming pool. Only downfall was poor TV reception (not really needed) and no radio or ipod dock. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to relax and revive. We did notice a large influx over the labour day long weekend so Xmas holiday time would be very busy in town.

We spent two nights at Eugenie's and enjoyed every minute of it. Located a 2 minute walk from the town centre, with excellent views. The facilities are excellent, and well maintained, very clean and comfortable.
