This was our second stay here and we loved it. The cabins are cute, private, warm, charming, perfect for a family of four and spotlessly clean.

Beds have comfy pillows and doonas and I love the log fire place 🪵 🔥

The staff were great, attentive but left you to your own.

The breakfast provisions were great - high quality and the kitchen fully equipped for all meals.

Loved watching the bunnies in the morning and feeding the goats.

Location is great - close to all you need. Will return. Thank you.

Such a cosy, beautiful cottage in quiet grounds behind Healesville Sanctuary. We stayed in Sunset Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well equipped, the only downside was the bed! We found it too soft and we met each other in the middle!! We had a beautiful sunset our first night and our neighbours were some goats who we loved being able to feed!!
Thank you for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back!

Perfect set up for a quiet week away. Very cosy cottage with all the necessary extras. Hosts were very obliging with any requests. Plenty of firewood to keep everyone warm. About 6km from Healesville but an easy walk along mostly pathed ways if you want a good morning walk.

The Loft. It was potentially beautiful ... rabbits and rosellas delighting the senses and front windows overlooking a large grassed area of beautiful trees ... with distant mountains in the background. Internally the basins, toilets, shower and spa were clean but some timbered and metal areas were badly in need of attention. I had to dust the wardrobe and drawers before using and I could not get the downstairs tele and stereo to operate. I would return because of the surrounding beauty.

The spa bath was nice. They had plenty of wood for the fireplace and it is clean.
However, This place is overpriced for what it provides. The pool is not clean or heated. It is not indoor, it has a roof over it and is outside. The bed is quite uncomfortable. On their website, it says that they provide “massage treatments and includes a spa centre and hot tub” this is all false.
The property has no WiFi so keep that in mind. Bring DVDS if you use them 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
There’s a notice in the kitchen, where you get charged $40 for any dishes left in the sink.

We booked the cottage the night before arrival for a 2 nights stay as there was a change in our travelling plans. Our family stayed in a 2 bedrooms cottage. It was located near to Healesville Sanctuary and also short drive to Coles supermarket; very clean, quiet and peaceful place. Breakfast was sufficient with choice of bread, cereal and milk. The room had a fully equipped kitchen which allows us to cook a simple meal. There is also a spa bath. The log fire and the heater in the living area keep us warm and cosy. The beds can also be heated if required which is good. Kids can also purchase a small bag of food for goat feeding which we do not have time for that. Overall we are happy with our stay.

We recently had our wedding at the cottages and it was unbelievable. Sanctuary park is such a unique place to visit. The property with it's mix of cottages all with views of the amazing gardens, lake and local mountains almost stole the show, with everyone who attended completely impressed with the venue. We booked out all of the cottages for the weekend to have our family and bridal parties stay with us which was great and everybody was over the moon with each cottage. For the big day we made the most of the gardens with a picnic theme set up alongside the lake which made for an amazing backdrop for the ceremony and festivities. My new wife and I commandeered the Loft cottage which was the perfect honeymoon suite with its upstairs bedroom and spa which was a great way to wind down the following day.
I honestly could talk all day about how fantastic the venue is but even more deserving of praise is owners Wendy and Alex. They are two of the genuinely most helpful and friendly people you could hope to meet. They were invaluable in helping us to achieve our vision, I can't thank them enough.
I can't wait to revisit to celebrate our anniversaries in the future.

Great place and wonderful hosts, what more could you ask for!

6 cottages on large acreage..... quiet, scenic location about 5 minutes outside Healesville.
Very well fitted out and BBQ down by the lake.
Great spot to explore the wineries and relax on the deck with a nice bottle of wine in the evening. Friendly, helpful staff... highly recommended!

We spent a night at the Sanctuary Park Cottages during our short visit to Yarra Valley/Healesville last week. To start with, the property is on a 20+ acre land which houses the 6 cottages as well as a beautiful lake.

We stayed at the loft which is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything one would need. It has a great view of the lake from the bedroom window and the verandah. It houses a spa which is simply amazing and a must try !! The bed is amazing and has electric blankets for those cold and windy nights.

Sufficient breakfast supplies were provided and were more than enough for the 2 days and 1 night that we stayed. Just in case you need something additional, Healesville town is easily approachable and just 10 mins drive away. If you are interested, there is a great dvd collection of old and new classics and a host of fun games which can be borrowed from the front office.

But the best thing about the place are the people running it. Helpful, welcoming and always smiling. A big thank you for making our stay pleasant & memorable.

We would definitely return to Sanctuary Park Cottages and recommend others to stay here when in Yarra/Healesville.

My partner and I spent two nights in the delightful Loft cottage. Having a fireplace and a spa is such a luxury and gave the place a romantic atmosphere. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and included everything you could need, even milk and bread! Situated in the beautiful surrounds of Sanctuary Park with stunning views and peacefulness and nature in the air you can't go wrong visiting as it is still so close to the city.

Expert tip: Buy some goat feed and make some friends with the other inhabitants of the park
