Hotel's Favourite
We can't speak highly enough of the accommodation and hospitality of Glenda and Neil, who provided us with great local advice regarding eating establishments etc. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Being quite reasonably priced, the motel is well located as it's just a short walk to the Healesville township. Needless to say we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book there again when next in town.

We like to support small business including motels and this one did not disappoint. We enjoyed a very clean room, presented well, great shower and toiler en-suite. To top it off nice beds with electric blankets to keep you cozy. The amenities provided were as expected and the A/C worked fine. The people who run this motel show be commended as they take pride in presenting a comfortable and affordable accommodation. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: It can be difficult to see from the road the motel entrance at night. Look out for the signage...

Rooms are spacious, really clean & the bed was super comfortable. We also had a huge new bathroom. There is a lovely open lawn area with trees to sit back & relax on their outdoor setting.
Hotel owner Glenda is really friendly & easy going & offers a wealth of knowledge of things to do in the local area, restaurants & wineries.
The hotel is an easy 5-10 min walk to town which was perfect for us as we spent plenty of time at restaurants & cellar doors so it was great to give the legs a stretch.
Really reasonably priced & I would definitely book here again when revisiting Healesville.

I will say that they have keys. I do miss keys at hotels. Warm and fuzzy does not decribe the lobby and greeting.
The room was clean and neat, as was the bathroom.
There is 'free' WIFI if you ask. Don't bother. I had to run speedtest 5 times to get it to actually register. Upload was 0.1 mbs, download was 0.1 mbs. My phone hotspot was 6.0 and 16.0. Honestly, don't bother having it if this is what it is.

Clean, tidy, comfortable room, at an excellent price.
Owner was friendly and helpful, with our last minute booking.
There is a nice big grassy area, outdoor seating areas and playground which would make for a great summer holiday location for families.

We stayed for one night, it was a last minute booking which has caught us out before and we’ve ended up in less than wonderful accomodation. This note however was wonderful. The woman at reception (sorry I forgot your name) was lovely and even recommended the terminus for dinner which was absolutely delicious. The room was a step above motor inn accomodation! The bathroom was brand new and squeaky clean! The room smelt fresh and was cool upon entry which was great on a 40c day! Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Stayed one night as in the area for a wedding. Seems to be quite common with so many wineries doing weddings in the Yarra valley. Okay for the review, rooms are clean but quite basic, the AC in the room shuts off after 10 minutes bursts.
The location is a bit out of Healesville so not like a quick walk to the main strip. You will need to drive in...or enjoy a long stroll.
Reception service was efficient and polite, but we left on a Saturday morning around 7.15 am and reception was closed.
Would stay again but also might look for alternate options

Well founded residence certainly is a cut above a Motel. Were upgraded to a chalet which was a house of high quality with everything you could want tea, coffee & milk. Loved the locally made chocolates in the fridge! Very comfortable beds & spotlessly clean. Good WiFi, BBQ on the balcony

What a great little family getaway!
We stayed in room 2 and it was really spacious with a separate bedroom for the kids. There was extra blankets and pillows in the cupboard, good quality toiletries and a nice little section in the minibar. Shower was fabulous! Heaps of pressure!
A great play ground for the kids and heaps of grassy area to run around on. The location is very close to the centre of Healesville. A great place to base yourself for exploring the Yarra valley.

Stayed here on a trip around Victoria. Owners Neil & Glenda were very welcoming and helpful. Good sized room with comfortable bed and good hot shower. Allocated parking and even a lovely garden to sit and relax. Close to town. Recommend having dinner at the Terminus Hotel - exceptionally good meal and reasonable price. Would stay here again on our next trip
