We came as a couple and stayed here for New Years Eve.
Very clean, quiet and well appointed. Everything seemed well maintained and the gardens were fantastic to hang out in. The location was quiet even though it's on a main road. We were in room 5 and it was very spacious as well as being homely.
Disliked · A ceiling fan in the second bedroom would be good on warmer days.
There is a Foxtel box in the room ,but has been disconnected. Ralph has told us that they hope to have it up and running again soon.

We stayed here for one night as we had a wedding in the Yarra valley. Very comfortable and clean accommodation at a good price. Lots of linen provided and a nice touch providing chocolates and make up remover wipes as well as the traditional soaps and shampoo selections. Ralph was very helpful and recommended a place for brunch. Would stay here again and happily recommend to others.

Plenty of room for our family of 5 in the 3 bedroom villa. Great location. Lush towels. Kitchen really well equipped. Very comfy beds. Host, Ralph was very friendly and accommodating, kept in touch via text from confirmation of booking to check out at end of stay. He provided a portacot and high chair at no extra cost and was happy for us to check out a little later so our littlest babe could have her morning nap. Highly recommend.

We stumbled across this place after we had another accommodation booking get cancelled due to power outages in Healesville. Ralph was lovely to deal with and quickly organised a room for us late in the day. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Check in and check out was easy and Ralph made us feel very welcomed. An easy 10-15 minute walk from the Healesville township makes this a great place to stay if you are planning to explore Healesville and/or the Yarra Valley. Highly recommend.

I'll come back to the title of this review shortly. First, the attributes that keep us coming back haven't changed. The exceptional cleanliness, the "interior designer"decor, the quality furniture and fittings and of course, the welcome of hosts Helen and Ralph. What does change however are further improvements and enhancements to make guest's visits even more enjoyable and memorable. Which brings me back to The Princess and the pea fairy tale. The beds have always been very good and Yarra Gables, something very important for my wife and I as we both have chronic back conditions. The gold standard for me used to be Sheraton Hotels, but they have lost their crown to Yarra Gables. New beds have been installed with the deepest mattresses I have encountered and are fitted with extra fine sheets for a superb nights sleep, and happy backs in the morning. We're already looking forward to our next visit to view the extensions being done to the gorgeous gardens surrounding the facility, which of course are available for guests to enjoy.

The villas were clean, spacious and they had all the necessary items required for the stay. The bedding was comfortable, the towels and bathroom accessories were a treat & the kitchen had all the equipment required. It was a close to town and all the shops. We will definitely use the Gable Yarra Villa again

We were very happy to stay overnight at Yarra Gables Motel in Healesville, Ralph the manager of the property was very hospitable, from the start to the end he wanted to make sure that everything was in order. We appreciate the good service he had given to us. What was very eye catching and impressive of the motel was the beautiful garden. It looks amazing, there were so many beautiful plants and flowers in the garden, it was also nicely decorated with various type of pretty chairs and tables. The room was very spacious and clean, Inside, it has got a kitchenette which was very handy. I will recommend to stay in Yarra Gables and if we have a chance to stay in Yarra Valley area, we will come back to stay in Yarra Gables.

From the moment we arrived we knew that we had made the right choice. The place is so pretty and just a walk away from beautiful town of Healesville. The quaint motel lodgings are nicely tucked away amongst an impressive garden setting with many little places to sit and admire the view. The room is spacious and well equipped and has everything you need ( even face wipes in bathroom
And chilled glasses in fridge). The beds are comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!

Set relatively close to town, Yarra gardens accommodation is set amongst beautiful gardens and acreage that
is meticulously maintained. The business is well managed with friendly staff who have pride in the property with attention to every detail. Our accomodation was clean, comfortable and well appointed with larger than average living space. The units are not knew but in good condition and kept in character with the surrounds. A very pleasant place to stay.

Family members who stayed elsewhere in Healesville were a bit envious when they saw my accommodation at Yarra Gables! The property looked appealing on the website, but the reality surpassed my high expectations. Guests' comfort is clearly the first priority of the owners here. Ralph went above and beyond in addressing a particular requirement of mine, and I must highly commend him for his gracious, businesslike approach to my enquiry. My Queen room was meticulously presented, with every thoughtful amenity on hand for a pleasant stay. The gardens were a delightful bonus, and these were also maintained fastidiously, offering further evidence of the owners' pride in their establishment, along with their goal of providing the best accommodation in the area. On my next visit to the Yarra Valley, this will be my only choice in planning where to stay. Highly recommended.
