We spent two nights in the cottage at Yarra Gables. The heating was on when we checked in and the house remained very cosy on a few cold nights. It was spotlessly clean with everything you need and more including chocolates in the fridge and coffee bags instead of instant if you choose not to use the coffee machine. The place was very spacious with a lovely undercover back patio, back yard and best of all a DOUBLE garage. Two larger than average bathrooms with plenty of towels, a large walk in robe, large tv with Netflix etc provided and plenty of space for six people. A great place to stay.

A perfect spot for a long weekend - close to all the Yarra Valley has to offer. Easy walking distance to Healesville town centre.
The cottage was well appointed, spotless clean and very comfortable. An ideal location for family as it has 2 twin rooms plus master bedroom
We will certainly use Yarra Gables on our next visit to the Yarra Valley

In the past I have written of our totally enjoyable visits to Yarra Gables and how over the years it has become our "home away from home" when travelling to the metro area from our home in Paynesville in East Gippsland. From the genuinely warm welcome to the spotlessly clean accommodation, tastefully decorated and with every amenity for a relaxing and carefree visit, Yarra Gables ticks all the boxes. Located in the centre of the Yarra Valley with all the natural attractions, not to mention vineyards, is an added bonus. But a visit to the Gables would be excuse enough to visit anyway. But what set a new standard on this occasion was an upgrade to a new extension to the accommodation offering. A three bedroom cottage has been added to the options available and it is stunning in presentation and facilities. We enjoyed being able to cook an excellent steak, purchased from a local butcher, on the rear deck BBQ, and having a fully equipped dining room and kitchen adjacent. We are already planning our return.

Large room, very clean, friendly staff. Not very far from the town and getting to wineries was only short drives. After visiting wineries and attractions getting back to the room was a great feeling of comfort and homely with clean set of linens. This place has a large backyard that a guest can wonder around. There are a kids playground and space to run about for kids and a vegetable garden with many variety such as different kinds of tomatos, pumkin, zucchini, blackberries, strawberries. Also a chook cage with no smell to enjoy.

Now that travel is more open I was delighted to return to Yarra Gables at Healesville, Victoria. Contact-free check-in was comforting in these uncertain times, and we enjoyed a spacious, clean, comfortable, and welcoming room. The grounds of the motel are beautiful and guests are welcome to explore the varied gardens.

Upon arrival Ralph welcomed us and said we had been upgraded from a family room to a 3 bedroom house next door. This was a lovely surprise. House was very clean, tidy and had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Home is spacious, beds were very comfortable, wifi and smart tv were a bonus, along with some chocolates, tea/coffee, condiments and toiletries supplied. Undercover off-street parking, a balcony with a bbq should you want to cook outdoors and some friendly parrots greeted us when we arrived. The house is set slightly back from the main road, which gave privacy, was quiet and we were not bothered by traffic noise at all. Overall we enjoyed our short stay and highly recommend this and the other accommodation at Yarra Gables.

Thankyou Ralph! All six couples had a really lovely comfortable stay. Both houses were spotless and the extra touches like the choccies in the fridge, the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes, and the really really good coffee and tea were greatly appreciated. Ralph messaged in advance to let me know that we could check in earlier than expected and then messaged again that evening to make sure we we all comfortable and to see if we needed anything. Thank you Ralph and please let your wife know that we appreciated all the extra little touches.

Couldn't fault Yarra Gables at all, we booked last minute after visiting Healesville for a day trip and deciding we just weren't ready to leave! Ralph was very prompt and attentive, allowing us to check in shortly after booking. Such a smooth and easy process, we stayed in room 5 and loved it. It was the perfect space for 2 friends to relax and enjoy a wine on the lovely deck, and roam the gorgeous gardens on the property. Really convenient location, just a short walk to Four Pillars and a little further to the main street. We will definitely be back!
