Strathvea hosted our daughter's wedding last weekend, and the setting helped to make it such a lovely day. The wedding party plus the parents stayed for two nights, and Deanne and Toby were great hosts. The guest rooms are excellent, with all the extra touches needed for a comfortable stay. Very comfortable beds. Our room was one of the Heritage...

A charmingly beautiful original guest house set in a picturesque garden over looking majestic forest. Each room is individually decorated with a flair for the past. The hosts, Deanne and Toby provided warm accommodating service including wonderful meals that included as much organic, local produce as possible. As well as a great selection of Yarra Valley beers and wine. We...

What a wonderful and peaceful place! Full of colonial charm and surrounded by beautiful gardens. I spent two weeks at Strathvea as an artist in residence for the Toolangi Sculpture Trial. Deanne and Toby were fantastic hosts and chef Mardie's meals were absolutely delicious. I look forward to my next stay at Strathvea. Thanks for a great and unique experience.

Thank you!! It was fantastic to have you stay. We loved every bit of it. Toby is pining for more artists to stay. He is missing everyone singing around the piano as well as all of the story telling. All the best Deanne

I stayed as a guest for two weeks as one of a group of artists who were creating works for the Toolangi Sculpture Trail. What a wonderful two weeks it was! After long days working in the forest we appreciated relaxing with a pre-dinner drink on the verandah before enjoying the delicious dinners cooked by chef Mardie [using local produce]....

I stayed at Strathvea with a group of friends for a wedding that was held in the beautiful grounds. I can't speak highly enough of the exceptional surroundings - a forest of immense mountain ash trees, the guest house itself which has a decadent majesty and above all the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts, Deanne & Toby. Nothing was...

I spent 2 days/nights here for a work conference in September. The setting was beautiful. The service was fantastic and food was delicious!!! The rooms have everything you need and even though it was very cold at night the hearers and electric blanket kept the room lovely and warm. This is a unique place with real character and charm.
