Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

The room was nice and spacious in a quiet, rural location. We were greeted on arrival but didn't see the hosts again during a 2 night stay. Breakfast provisions were not replenished after first night.

A lovely place to stay, Christine was very welcoming. The room was exactly as described and how it looked in the pictures and the property is really beautiful. The footsteps above the room at night were pretty loud.

This was a perfect getaway for my husband and I over the Cup long weekend. Brentwood is a tranquil gem nestled in lush rain forest with the sounds of bird calls and the rush of the Myers Falls Creek as a backdrop. Located on the edge of the Yarra Ranges National Park, the guesthouse gave us the feeling of a real escape from the stressses of city life. Yet the township of Healesville with all its attractions and superb eateries is not too far away at all. We enjoyed visiting the wineries, the Healesville Sanctuary and the picturesque Wirra Willa Walk which are all a short drive away. Christine and Mark are warm, generous hosts. They have thought of everything. There is a breakfast basket of provisions including fresh eggs from their chickens so you do not have to leave the comfort of your room. There is a little kitchenette with all you need for two, a lovely sitting area inside as well as relaxing chairs to sit in the garden. The eco-friendly toiletries provided and the cosy, very comfy bed contributed to a very relaxing and restorative stay. The guest house has three immaculate apartments, with their own entrances. We stayed in the "Valley View" room which overlooks the pretty garden with its fountain and pond. Everything was spotlessly clean and reflects the love and care they have put into it. We loved strolling around the garden, patting the donkeys, Elroy and Nutmeg not forgetting the dogs, Jerry and Max and the cats who all ambled over for a pat too. Thank you Christine and Mark for your friendly and warm hospitality. We recommend that anyone wanting a little home away from home come to stay in your beautiful accommodation.

We enjoyed a three night stay in this gorgeous B & B. The house is a beautifully maintained 100+yr old guesthouse surrounded by gorgeous gardens that invite colourful birds & the sound of the stunning water feature ensures a relaxing vibe. Three quaint, but beautifully decorated guest rooms all overlook the spectacular gardens. Each unit has their own outdoor table area on the terrace to have breakfast in the morning or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening & take in the ambience. Mark & Christine are the perfect hosts. Friendly & easy to talk to, they greeted us on arrival & took us through our accommodation. Christine was a wealth of knowledge about the area, wineries, restaurants & places to visit. Although they live at the back of the property, we did not see them again & had total privacy. They have thought of everything. From candles to the comfy & cozy bed it is a perfect space for couples. The breakfast basket was generous & more than enough for our stay. The two donkeys, two dogs & cats were just as friendly as their owners & were a delight. The only thing it lacked was a wardrobe or chest of drawers for your clothes. Other than three wall hooks, there was nowhere to hang your clothes, but if living out of a suitcase doesn’t bother you, then this place is pretty much perfection.

I don’t know how Christine and Mark do it, this property is immaculate, tended with lots of love. The accommodation is stylish and comfortable and very clean. But, it’s outside that just captivates. Christine and Mark were the perfect host. Can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I stayed for a winter weekend here in. July. The accomodation was clean, quiet, peaceful and private. The hosts were lovely, they’re definitely in the right job - friendly but not intrusive. Never saw or heard from the other guests, very private and the perfect getaway for a weekend tree-scape. Ideal location to explore the Yarra Valley wineries. I loved that it was a little out of town, the scenery is spectacular and you really feel away from it all, although it’s only a short 10 min drive into town. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Very friendly and welcoming owners run this BnB. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy. The garden is beautiful, perfect to have an afternoon drink in. Positioned less than 10min drive from town, making it quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend staying here, so much to do in the area too! Recommend to book directly through their website :)

My husband and I just returned from a 4 night experience at Brentwood B&B. I have to say this is the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The location is ideal and only a short drive out of Healesville. Chris and Mark are the loveliest, most congenial hosts and we felt like we had known them forever. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made our stay extra special. Everything that they recommended to do in and around Healesville was spot on! The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfie. The breakfast supplies were plentiful and yummy. We cannot say enough about this sublime B&B, except 'do yourself a favour'............. Thanks so much Chris and Mark - you run a fabulous B&B and your hospitality is exceptional. Jo and Kenny!
