We stayed at two bedroom cabin. The location was quiet and privacy from other cabins were ensiured. Although the quite chill weather, has fireplace and air-heat-pump made the cabin nicely warm. During the sunny days bathroom and toilet will warm up nicely as well.

DULC cabins are the perfect cosy winter escape! My partner & I just stayed at DULC for the 3rd time. It's beautiful waking up in the loft bedroom, sitting in front of the fireplace with a coffee watching wallabies & emus wander past, spending the day hiking & then returning to sip a glass of wine in the bath surrounded by trees. We'll definitely be back to stay again!

Wow wow wow we absolutely loved it!! Where do I start…. I was a little worried about bugs being in the bush but wanted to experience it and needed not worry at all. The cabin was very private and peaceful and furnished to a high standard. Wall to ceiling windows everywhere so even when it was really hot you could have the air con on and shut the doors but still feel like your outside. We made use of the spa bath tub outside in the evening…so special!! Even showering next to a huge window is strange but great at the same time. We had two nights there and didn’t want to leave. The very best thing of all is seeing the wildlife outside your window!!! Kangaroos, Wallabies just hopping through your garden, even when your sitting in the spa bath lol.

We had a great couple of days staying in Treehouse Cabin 4. It’s a great location to visit this area. We enjoyed the Pinnacle Walk and Fyans Creek loop. The Cabin is so comfortable and a brilliant place to see animals. This evening we saw a wallaby, kangaroos, spiny ant eater and two emus sauntered by! Great ice cream in Hall’s Gap…

We stayed at Cabin 5 after 3 attempts of getting away there. Janene prepared a beautiful breakfast hamper for us for the 4 days. The surroundings were amazing with every window having a magnificent view of the bush with local kangaroos, birds and Emus wandering about. Every cabin had privacy screens which made the experience more tranquil. The outdoor spa was used every day after walking or golfing and was so relaxing. I would highly recommend as this was the 5th stay for us in Halls Gap and the best!

Pros: Family visit for 2 nights at DULC was relaxing and such a peaceful stay. Very clean cabins located in amongst the bushland away from all the other tourist flocking to the area of Halls Gap. We stayed in the Mountain View Twin Bed Cabin which consisted of 2x King size beds one being in a separate room and the other behind a wood fire style gas heating bench. These beds are very comfortable and you will have a great night sleep after exploring Halls Gap. Cabin was very well lit with natural light. It also offers WIFI if you still wanted to stay in touch with the social media platforms however, WIFI was intermittent from my experience. Newly installed Spa tub as of Nov 2021. DULC Cabins offered numerous amenities including coffee and tea an abundant of personal hygiene and towels. Really love the keyless entry utilising keypad style entry so you don’t have to worry about carrying keys with you. You will come across lots of wildlife walking past the cabin including kangaroos which may have joeys in the pouch if you’re lucky enough to spot it and is very entertaining to watch if you bring kids along, or if you have never personally experienced it yourself. There is sufficient heating and split system for cooling. Cooking facilities are great with electric stove, toaster, microwave, kettle, espresso machine, bar size fridge and Weber cooking outside. Best thing is having breakfast on the decking area in the mornings. DULC Cabins is only approximately 4-5 minutes drive and 25minutes walk or approximately 4km to the CBD. It’s not far away considering you’re secluded in your own peace and quiet. They have an abundance of dvd’s to select and Netflix for those who don’t want to miss their favourite tv show.   Cons: Would have liked to see a fly screen door that enters into the entertainment deck from the cabin so that you can have some breeze come through and leave the flies out. The WIFI can be intermittent, however my wife said she didn’t have any issues at all. Other than that, if I was being really picky – the blind in the shower when pulled all the way down could use a good wipe down as this is missed for cleaning, in my opinion. My wife also suggested that the driveway to the cabins be resurfaced as we did scrape slightly due to the uneven eroded driveway. We drove in a Holden SS Sedan for your reference.   Overall: Nonetheless, this was a great experience overall and will be coming back here for our visits to Halls Gap. I would recommend this accommodation but is a little on the pricier side than your usual Tourist Park. Recommended more for couples but we managed with a twin share for a family of four.

Stayed in the treehouse cabin for 2 nights in November 2020 and loved it! The cabin is great, with windows looking out to the bush all around you and the opportunity to see wild animals pass by is exactly what I wanted. I got lucky to be there when there were baby emus wandering by multiple times with their father, also saw a lot of kangaroos and kookaburras from the cabin, as well as a few lizards and deer. The bath was also a highlight as you had a clear ceiling and windows on the side of the bath that you could open up, so really gave you a great feeling of having a bath while being outside. Ruth was great and extremely helpful with rescheduling due to the multiple lockdowns in Melbourne. Will definitely stay again next time i'm in the Grampians.

We recently spent a couple of nights in one of the Treehouse cottages. While the main reason for our visit to Halls Gap was to go on the many scenic Grampians walks, DULC was a serene holiday destination in its own right. I spent almost as much time sitting on the window banquette (surrounded by forest) reading a book as I did bushwalking. Thoughtful touches are the little library of books donated mostly by previous guests and the selection of DVDs. The coffee machine is great but a bit complicated if you are a espresso novice (fresh milk would have made it even nicer). Kitchen is well stocked for the self-caterer and the Weber Q BBQ is the best we've had anywhere. Maybe most people won't be interested to know this but it's a pleasant 40 minute walk into Halls Gap along a tree-lined footpath beside Grampians Road - on a mild daylight saving evening, stroll past the mobs of roos and emus, have dinner and a few glasses of wine and walk back before sundown. There'll probably be some wallabies waiting for you. My partner and I definitely plan to do all of this again.

Thank you for your lovely review. We do aim to ensure our guests feel relaxed and comfortable, having a lovely homely place to come back to after exploring the Grampians. It sounds like we ticked all those boxes for you, which is great. We don't provide fresh milk for guests, as these days so many people have different dietary requirements and would incur a lot of waste we feel, but the supermarket in Halls Gap is always well stocked for guests to purchase provisions. I am pleased you found the cabin to be well stocked for self catering, and enjoyed preparing your own meals using the Weber Q as well. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future for another Grampians getaway! Kind Regards Ruth

We returned today from 2 beautiful nights in Treehouse (no. 4) in this exclusive and beautifully-run property. The outlook from every window from our luxury log cabin was serene. Facilities and amenities were all of top-quality and we were made to feel extremely welcome by Ruth and her team on arrival. Halls Gap and the Grampians provide a wonderful array of walks of differing degrees of difficulty plus a good variety of restaurants and specialty shops. But we both agreed at the end of each day that we were lucky enough to be staying in the best accommodation available.
