Boroka Downs is just perfect, stunning cabins/lodges overlooking the Grampians ranges, with kangaroos, emus and cockatoos/parrots grazing in the grasslands before us. Luxury fittings and facilities, with everything one would need thoughtfully provided by wonderful hosts Bob and Steph. Particular highlight was the blazingly fast wifi. This is a memorable couples destination, remarkably reasonably priced relative to the outstanding, restful and...

The fireplace, spa, views and amenities were all perfect. The bed is so comfortable - the best I've ever slept in. Total luxury. It's really private and secluded, and the views are stunning. You can see wildlife from your bed!

This is a wonderful place. I booked it for the end of my sisters one month trip to Australia and it did not disappoint. She had climbed the Sydney bridge, visited the opera house, walked around Uluru and walked the Valley of the winds at Kata Tjuta, snorkelled at the GBR and sailed in the whitsundays but sipping bubbly in...

What a great place to stay. All needs catered for. Beautiful serene view, spotlessly clean unit. Firewood for open fire replaced early each morning. Owners very caring and helpful and full of suggestions of what to do in the area. Will definitely return in the future

Boroka Downs is accessed by a red-earth road, from the highway that leads from Halls Gap to Pomonal and eventually to Ararat. Drive carefully, once you get onto the dirt road – there are emus and kangaroos on the property in winter, and in fact, we saw them every day! It is not far to the property. We had a...

This place is amazing! My husband and I stayed here for a little getaway from Adelaide for 5 nights. We loved it! The views are fantastic, great to wake up, roll up the blinds and see the sun rise over the majestic mountains. The spa bath was a real highlight. Sitting back relaxing in bubbles while watching the rain come...

We last stayed at this property in 2006 and had an excellent time. We decided to plan a nostalgic trip back and we are glad we did. The property has come under a different management team but it is still wonderful. The property is stunning. Set in a huge piece of land with complete privacy and views of the hills...

My husband and I stayed here in mid June for a little getaway from Melbourne. And it sure was luxurious! We woke up to amazing views of The Grampians region and kangaroos grazing just metres away. The spa was an added bonus, being able to soak while enjoying the views. The place was very clean, secluded and a fully equipped...

We stayed two nights but could've happily stayed for twenty! Check in was efficient with a quick overview of our villa by Bob. The villa was comfortable sized, certainly far from cramped but small enough to stay cozy. Kitchen is well equipped including an electric bbq in the veranda and a proper Saeco coffee machine inside. Beds are very comfortable...

Wow, what an absolute peach of a property this place is. Beautiful, well-appointed luxury secluded cabins which act as a great base for exploring the Grampians -- but don't be surprised if you decide to spend just a little more time hanging out on the terrace watching kangaroos, wallabies, echidna, etc..., and generally taking advantage of the peace and serenity...
