A repeat Lakeside customer over the years. Choice of stay at HG. Tried near every accommodation type. From my own tent on grass site, to retro cozy cabin and modern cabin. The latter just recently experienced. Cabin no.82 … clean, splendid and a porch view to make me feel like a King. Spent so much time watching over the beautiful valley. An eastern view of pasture, mountains, trees, clouds, light changes and Aussie animals/birds of all kinds. Cabin very comfortable. I could cook feasts well as had all the needed utensils & pots. Kids had fun and active there as usual. Exploring, bouncing (trampolines) and our daily swim. Staff patient and friendly in very trying pandemic rule changing times. Enough said - back soon!

We've been returning annually to Lakeside for the past five years and it never disappoints. The amazing views and abundant wildlife are the key attractions, but the park itself is always incredibly well run, and there's always something new or improved each time we return. There are thoughtful touches wherever you look, and Josephina and the staff go well above and beyond to help guests. Having campfires is brilliant in a park of this size, as is the heated pools, trampolines, and good coffee! We've camped and stayed in a cabin and are happy to return to either. We wouldn't dare not to rebook for next year, the kids would go nuts if we didn't get our Lakeside fix each year!

After months of dealing with the owner of this park, and awaiting my refund due to them being unable to accommodate our repeated bookings, l was forced to call her directly as emails were not being responded to. The owner spoke with me, very very rudely and told me ld just have to wait! As she has 16 ppl in her office wanting her attention! Omg, how on earth us that my fault?. I’m a potential customer and that’s how l got treated? Needless to say, we are ALL victims of covid lockdown right now, not just her! And she should not be raking her frustrations out on customers who have been loyal to her over the months while waiting patiently for a booking to be fulfilled. We’ve now found another NICER place to stay!

We love staying at this tourist park. We have stayed several times in their houses and also camped. Our enthusiasm is not just because of it's excellent location, but also because the facilities are tops. Add to that very attentive, friendly and customer-focussed service and it makes for a park stay pretty hard to beat.

Spent 7 nights camping at Lakeside. Amenities are new and very clean. Office staff are really nice and their coffee is great. You can even hire a fire pit. Kangaroos and birds a plenty we really felt we were camping in a zoo. Trampolines for the kids looked like lots of fun.
