Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in unit 7 overlooking a small lake with kangaroos and kookaburoos all around. The chalet was extremely spacious and very well equipped with a large fridge, microwave and hob. There was a spa bath which we did not use and good quality shampoo, soap etc. It's around 1.5 km from the town centre and didn't take long to walk into town for restaurants. Extremely helpful owner too - highly recommended.

We stayed in a standard chalet for 4 nights and didn’t want to leave. The chalet was spotless, equipped with everything we needed & the BBQ area fridge is stocked with sauces, dressings etc for you to use. Our host Peter was very welcoming and we enjoyed chatting to him. He recommended several places for great coffee and food and he was spot on. Highly recommend these exquisite chalets in a very convenient location, hoping to return so we can continue to explore beautiful Halls Gap.

Grampians Chalets was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway and some hiking.

The Deluxe Cabins are very spacious with kitchenette, spa bath, fireplace and reverse-cycle airconditioning (Aussie weather can be very temperamental) but the best part was the wildlife constantly wandering around the pond at the front of the cabin.

Wouldn't hesitate at all to head back when next in the area!

We stayed here on 27-29 May 2022 in a Deluxe Chalet (room 8). All chalets are individual separate cabins and you never hear other guests. In fact all you hear are the birds, frogs and critters! Just perfect. Our chalet looked out to the pond and we were often visited by magpies, wrens, ducks and wallabies .

Our cabin had absolutely everything you could need. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the gas fire (and reverse cycle heating/cooling) kept everything cosy warm. The kitchen contained anything you would need to cook up a quick meal though we tended to eat out.

We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend the chalets to family and friends. Thank you.

Wonderful accommodation - spacious but still cozy and warm... and absolutely spotless! The chalets have everything you could need, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure was great, the spa and the views over the dam (& all the birds and animals that frequented it) were an added bonus. The location is close to town and many of the walks into the Grampians. Peter is a perfect host & we can't thank him enough for making our stay such an enjoyable and memorable one. Very highly recommended.

We recently stayed in a Deluxe Chalet for 3 nights. The Chalet was fantastic and large. King sized bed and a good sized double spa. The shower is large as is the bathroon. The chalet was spotlessly clean with a deck overlooking a dam. The wildlife was amazing Kangaroos, ducks and birdlife of all kinds using the dam. The kitchen was well appointed but there was also a camp BBQ kitchen with 2 BBQs. The camp kitchen had plenty of condiments for use. It is an easy 10 minute stroll into the town centre with multiple cafes, restaurants and hotels.

Great size chalet, enjoyed the spa bath after our long walks. We had the chalet with the smaller spa but plenty big enough for us. Comfy bed. All you need in the kitchen. Even gladwrap and foi and freshly ground coffee tool. Even more so in the BBQ area a fridge full of goodies if you want to cook for yourself. Great heating which was good for us travelling in winter.

We have stayed in lots of accommodation around the world but we have to say this is the best experience we have had so far. The location is picturesque and relaxing for couples to get away. There is wild life in abundance. The rooms are beautifully set up. Everything you need is provided and more. The host, Peter is one of the nicest people we have met and in the short time here we already feel a strong connection with him. I cannot recommend this place enough, definitely 5 star !

So Good in so many ways - i have never written this before, enough towel racks to dry all your towels and also power points challet space, bathroom space and the little things were also there. Nice deck to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Yep so good. Even the sinks shone when we checked in
New ownership coming in as hoping the standards will remain for our next visit.
