We had a fabulous stay at this holiday park. We stayed in an ensuite site and the ensuite was top notch. Beautiful showers. Plenty of hot water to counterbalance the cold and muddiness of halls gap. Lots to do for the kids and great shared facilities. Slightly out of town (as in 2 minutes) but great location nonetheless and closer to nature walks.

We have a big family and we decided to visit the Grampians during the school holidays. We book a camp site with deluxe ensuite and it was fantastic. Tip: bring a small rake for the kangaroo poop to clear the tent site.

We are very happy we came here. Lots of wildlife and fun activities for the kids. The visit from Halls Gap zoo was a highlight (see images). The camp site was clean, fire pits are permitted in the camping areas, kitchen and shared facilities are clean and well cared for.

The pool is great and the kids loves the big jumping pillow. Convenience shops and local services are only a 2 minute drive.

The owners and staff and very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Big4 NRMA Halls Gap Holiday Park.

10 star review. Stayed here for 7 nights and the hospitality along with the park and accommodation is impeccable. The park is walking distance from Halls Gap which was very convenient. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and made you feel welcome... something you expect when travelling. We stayed in an executive family cabin which was spacious comfortable and clean...like a home away from home. Kids can run around happily with plenty to keep them occupied such pedal go carts, tennis, jumping pillow, rock climbing, camp fires and exploring. Even swimming in the heated pool in the middle of winter was a enjoyable and a daily activity. There is an abundance of wildlife (Kangaroos, Emu's, Wallabies) literally at your doorstep. Everything about this holiday park was over 5 stars. Highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcome. We will definitely see you again.

I have stayed at this park in the past and felt satisfied. So my most recent visit resulted in my being surprised and somewhat disappointed. Therefore, I was unable to grade the review of this location as "Extremely Good" nor "good value" as I had in the past. Although I was satisfied with much that i found during my recent visit, (the facility overall still appeared to be well maintained and clean, the staff members I encountered were friendly and helpful) I was greatly disappointed to note that the toilet and showers were not clean. In fact, I found them to be in a disgusting state, (muddy floors, dirty shower cubicles, filthy toilets) on several occasions, (both in the morning and in the evening). Additionally, it did not appear that these toilet and shower facilities were being regularly cleaned by anyone. I hope that management shall pay more attention to ensuring that these facilities are kept clean for customers, especially during periods when many people are using them and related improvements are made prior to my next visit.

Hi, thankyou for taking the time to give us some feedback about your stay. It is a shame to hear you had an issue with our amenities cleaning. The amenities were cleaned in full everyday about 11am to 1pm and morning and afternoon checks were done. Our housekeepers did report back after cleaning them how they were surprised to see them such a mess each time they went out. We know during school holidays they do become dirty very shortly after cleaning them, hence our 3 checks a day, but this school holidays being so wet and muddy everywhere was most likely the reason behind them getting so muddy very quickly. We do pride ourselves on keeping the park buildings and grounds as clean and tidy as possible. This task can be very hard during the type of weather we had over the holidays. We do hope that this helps to explain the situation and we do hope you have a chance to return to the park when the weather conditions improve.

Stayed twice, 1st time, before arrival, I asked for something to sit on in the shower, reply yes, that was no problem. On arrival, no chair, 4 days stay, chair never arrived. Second visit, not long after the first, on arrival at check in asked if there was a chair for use in the bathroom/shower, rely yes. On arrival at the unit, checked the bathroom, no stool/chair.
Note: there were two people working at reception when I arrived, when I got the yes there was a chair/stool for use in the shower, the other reception attendant didn’t correct the other. I was the only customer in reception at the time.
The office knew I had booked an accessible room on both occasions as I had phoned and talked to reception about may needs. The fact that it was an assisted/accessible reservation was printed on the top of the paperwork at ~8.30am that morning.
On arrival, second visit, after I discovered no shower chair/stool, I had to have a good think about how to handle the situation. I felt dealing with onsite staff was futile, so my conclusion was to phone head office. I did, was told someone would phone me back, to this day NO ONE has phoned.

We're sorry you had a bad experience. We do have shower chairs available and our receptionist who checked you in genuinely believed a chair was in your cabin as she used to be a housekeeper. A quick phone call to reception could have resolved the issue for you in 5 minutes but you never contacted us. As the new park manager, I have made sure this type of cabin now has these chairs and have advised my staff that they are not to be removed. I believe the call you made was to our sales center who don't deal with these sort of issues. The park managers at our parks are here to help and would have gladly helped if we had known about the issue.

On a recent visit Oct2023 we booked into NRMA Halls Gap mid week and asked for a Powered Site and was told that the price varies every day of the week. We stayed on Wednesday and Thursday and we were charged two different rates as Thursday was classed in the weekend rate. We were allotted site 135 the nearest amenities were just across a grassed area and the toilet and shower were all in one - the shower in all had not been cleaned for some time as around the base of the shower was black and included green mould. We used the larger amenity block but the the hot water for the showers was only luke warm, but in the Laundry the hot water was really hot. Our site had long grass and was untidy to say the least. We have stayed here before NRMA tookover and it was a really nice park. It now appears NRMA is not interested in the Park except to overcharge in off peak times. We will not be staying here again.

Great park, well located close to Halls Gap with good amenities.
We hired a 2 bedroom cabin which was well sized, clean and comfortable. Perfect for a family of 3 or 4.
The bathroom and bedrooms were large. Kitchen utensils adequate. Main queen bed had electric blankets which was nice given how cold the night time temperatures were.
Bed linen provided which was neatly packaged up for the single beds considering the COVID situation. Very happy with the stay!

We stayed in a cabin with our family of 4 and the park had everything needed to keep the kids happy and us oldies too.
Cabins were clean, fresh sheets and great air con!! Shower pressure was bang on too !!
Clean, spacious park with plenty to do.
Very safe for the boys to ride their bikes and also hire the pedal carts.

Great idea having a heated and normal pool.
Games room was well used!!
BBQ’s we’re used for breki, lunch and dinner and they were spotless every morning for that day’s use again.

Definitely booking here again and this time for a longer stay.

Thanks 👌

Our 7 year old rated this holiday park the best we had ever stayed at, and I have to agree. Children are so well catered for here. We stayed during the school holidays and there were multiple activities and daily movies, along with the pool, PG and courts, and everything was done well. We can’t wait to return.

We have enjoyed our 4 day stay in Halls Gap the park is a perfect spot to base yourself not only for the walking but to your the local areas. The park is well maintained with clean and heated amenities. A selection of sites some with slab, fire sites and ensuite sites. A short walk into Halls Gap along a bike/walking path would recommend.
