A great place to spend a few days away from the city. Cottages are well designed, fully equipped, comfortable and quiet. Lovely setting. We enjoyed seeing kangaroos, birds and ducks right outside our cottage. Very close to the village for restaurants Etc.

Halls Gap Valley Lodges were a terrific find. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into providing top class accommodation. We loved the huge living area and the peaceful outlook over the lawns to see native birds and kangaroos (some with joeys) at the door. The lodges were very clean, quiet and very comfortable - probably the best... More

Great accommodation just out of town. The lodge was really cosy, well maintained and clean. Good heating facilities - not something you always consider when booking. We booked in very last minute to the lodge with a spa bath. Jenny, the owner who welcomed us, was so lovely and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. This would be very... More

We just had the one night in Kangaroo Villa and loved it. It was a last minute booking as we were passing through and wish we had more time to spend there. The villa has 2 bed rooms with their own en-suite, but the main bedroom has an huge bathroom with spa. There are all the things you need in... More

We stayed for 2 nights. We had no idea about Halls Gap so didn't know what to expect. What a beautiful place! And these villas were gorgeous. Lovely and spacious, and very very comfy. The spa was a lovely surprise! The only downside was the heating wasn't probably good enough, though admittedly it was a super cold weekend. But only... More

We stayed two nights in the Kangaroo Villa which was wonderful. The views are stunning and the local wildlife plentiful. We found the silence a wonderful change to our hectic city life. We had two nights and one full day in Halls Gap and will definitely be back. Would we stay at Halls Gap Valley Lodges? On balance yes I think so. The cabin itself was lovely, spacious and well laid out with huge windows overlooking the beautiful vista of the Grampians. There was tea and coffee, milk, toilet rolls and washing... More

Hi Emma Thank you for your review, our dogs don't usually bark at night as they are used to all the night noises but there is a holiday rental near our property that allows dogs so maybe a stray dog came onto the property and alerted Betty. I am a light sleeper too so I apologise for that. I am... More
