Gisborne Peak Winery is a quiet but beautiful little getaway less than an hour's drive from Melbourne. Our stay was lovely. The service was friendly and attentive, our cottage clean, well-stocked and comfortable, the property's restaurant delicious and surrounding area an absolutely beautiful spot for a stroll. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

We recently spent two nights at Gisborne Peak Winery in their eco-cottages.. Lovely comfortable accomodation in a very quiet location. Supplies were very generous. Provisions for cooking a delicious breakfast were provided with plenty of food for two mornings. A lovely tasting platter was also there to greet us, together with a complimentary bottle of their wine..Really enjoyed the Pinot!!...

We like to treat all guests who stay two nights with the complimentary wine. And we are particularly proud of our Pinot Noir, good choice! Sounds like you had a lovely time exploring. Thank you and see you next time.

We enjoyed the red balloon wine sampling and lunch and stayed in the mana gum cottage. Even though our early arrival was confirmed by management we surprised the cleaners still cleaning our unit...oh well we walked back to the cellar door and were treated with a wine each on the house. The cottages are gorgeous, clean and cosy. Loved it.

That's right we were disappointed that happened to you. It wasn't a good start for your stay at all! We are glad your weekend improved after then and we hope you come again. Thank you for your review.

So impressed with the quality of this accommodation. Clean and very modern. The fridge was fully stocked with enough supplies to last us our entire stay. The view from the balcony was just beautiful with the grapevines down below. Will definitely stay here again. Our stay was relaxing and comfy.

Comfortable, lovely cottage in a peaceful, pretty location. Lovely walks nearby and many interesting towns a short drive away. The cottage was perfect for 2 adults and we felt very rested after our stay.

After a lovely lunch the cottage makes for a stress free way to extend the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surrounds of the winery. Provisions for Breakfast were delicious. Pick up an extra bottle at the cellar door to enjoy on the night!

We had a lovely lunch with the platter, pizza's, desserts and wine. Its probably a good idea to have a light breakfast as the lunch portions are very generous. Terrific idea with all the wine tastings before the lunch upstairs. Decided to book a cottage, overlooked the vineyards. Everything was supplied for breakfast, lovely views, relaxing. Great place to unwind....

We decided to book a cottage as we had received a wine tasting & luncheon gift from our children. The cottage was well positioned over looking the vineyards, and was extremely well maintained and comfortable. Barbara and Bob have done a great job at Gisborne Peak Winery and were most hospitable. We would not hesitate in recommending these cottages to...

Isn't it nice to finish a lazy lunch then all you have to do is wander up the hill to your cottage , without the long drive home? Thank you for letting us know how much you enjoyed your stay. See you again soon perhaps!

Barb and Bob are gracious and charming hosts. The cottage was most comfortable, warm, cosy and immaculately clean. The outlook over the vines and surrounding hills was lovely and would have been even better if it had been sunny. Every item that was needed to make our stay enjoyable was provided, especially the most comfortable bed. This is a highly...

We had a late lunch and stayed overnight and everything was just lovely. Our cottage overlooked the vineyards. It was a lovely setting to sit on the verandah with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. The cottage was modern, very comfortable and spotlessly clean with extras such as DVD's, CD's and herbal teas. The staff were so friendly...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages (Macedon Ranges) is a place where relaxation, luxury, sustainability and fine wine all come together. Each of the 4 eco-cottages are self-contained and sleep two people. They are nestled into the hillside overlooking the vines and the lake. Perfect for relaxing, reading, talking or just watching the grapes grow! You can always have a tasting of the estate grown wines at the cellar door and even help out in the vineyard with seasonal activities if you want. On Friday through Sundays the wood-fired oven cooks delicious pizzas, prawns and more to match with the Gisborne Peak wine range. One of the advantages of the Gisborne South location is the close proximity to Melbourne and the airport. No need to waste time getting here – spend that time instead settling in and enjoying the sights, sounds and tastes of the Macedon Ranges.
