Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for 3 days whist exploring the Mornington peninsular. We had a nice shady, ensuite site. As we were new to Campervanning we found the facilities & camp kitchen very good. The staff were extremely helpful, & we were grateful that the guy in charge let us stay late in the recreation room to watch the Australian Open matches. All in all a great stay.

We stayed 2 nights from Thursday 13th February to Saturday 15th February in a two bedroom holiday unit sleeps 4. It had been renovated at sometime and was really nice and clean, it had everything we needed. We made use of the barbeque which was close by as well. The staff were friendly and very helpful just what you expect from Big 4.

Park is great, cabin is clean. BUT for $170 a night it is substandard. Curtains over door were broken, other windows the curtains dont fully cover them. BOTH doors inside were broken, noisy to shut and then really hard to open. Sliding doors, so not installed properly. and could be dangerous with kids. Microwave couldnt get a plate in it because door hits fridge door that it is on top of. Shower is great and had great water pressure. Parking bay is great. Park is well laid out and exceptionally clean. I just wouldnt get a cabin again. good storage in kitchen and the one bedroom, other bedroom is a bunk in a hallway. we were away during the day so were not able to contact management when we got back. But the doors should have been attended to beforehand.

This would have to be the worst place I have ever stayed at! Payed over $3000 for 12 nights in a 3 bedroom cabin. So we arrive after a long drive down from QLD, we check in and start unpacking it was warm so I turned the AC on and it’s faulty dripping water everywhere! I alerted park management and was told it could be fixed while we went out and did our food shopping. Came back to the cabin and was informed the AC couldn’t be fixed after unloading our shopping that we couldn’t fit in our refrigerator as it was missing internal door pieces. So after talking to the park manager/receptionist she said she could move us to another cabin and would refund us one night’s accommodation for the inconvenience. So after repacking the car we moved to another cabin that was not in a good area and located right next to the caravan park main bins! Lovely! So after unpacking ready for bed… The worst mattress I have ever laid on, old mattress with springs digging into you… So four nights in I decide to watch some TV, remote doesn’t work and the buttons on the side of the TV only randomly work. So next day I decided to enquire about the refund of the one nights accommodation and alert the staff about the faulty TV in the cabin… Well as soon as I reminded the female staff member she totally back flipped and accused me of talking down to her when I mearly mentioned the faulty TV and the refund of the one night as put forth by her a few days ago. When I questioned her about the faulty AC in our original cabin she told me that when they clean the rooms they also clean the AC filters (hard to believe) so I checked the filters on the AC in our new cabin and they were chocked with dirt and dust they were disgusting 🤢 I have now found mold on the curtains in the main bedroom. This place is not clean and fit for purpose! I will never come back! Park manager is rude and I expect to be treated as a customer with respect and not lied to. Travelers beware do not stay here!

Hi Heath, we take reviews like this very seriously. As soon as you alerted us to the air conditioner leaking I personally went into the cabin and attempted to resolve the issue, as I could not entirely fix it we moved you into a brand new cabin with a working air conditioner immediately, while I rang our electrician to fit a new air con into the cabin. You were never promised a one night refund, this was due to moving you instantly into a brand new cabin and also your combative and intimidating scene you made in our reception, which our staff handled brilliantly, I was very impressed with their professionalism. The cabin you were moved to is no where near the park bins, the Tv worked fine and we do not have mould in any of our cabins. It's clear you are trying to damage our reputation which we take incredibly seriously by leaving a review that doesn't reflect at all what has happened during your stay. We work incredibly hard to provide our guests with the best possible experience when they stay with us and we did everything we could do remedy the situation which can happen to anyone at any time, especially during summer. It's regretful you didn't enjoy your stay with us despite our best efforts, as we pride ourselves on our customer service and always want people leaving the park with a smile on their face having had a relaxing and enjoyable time with us.

Spent a couple of nights here following a trip down from Shellharbour, south of Sydney. Small but perfectly adequate cabin which was clean and fitted with small kitchenette. Quiet location only a few minutes drive from the beach front. Well appointed tourist park for families with a roller park in the middle for the youngsters. Staff friendly and helpful in suggesting local facilities such as shops and restaurants etc.

Stayed here whilst making a short visit to the hot springs. A nice park in a good location, obviously we only required an overnight stay. Stayed in a cabin which was well maintained. Park very neat and tidy as are all Big4 parks

After never been to this area before, we were not sure where to park our motorhome for a week. Chose well with this park. We have a very large corner grass site. Quiet park. The ammenities are oldish but very clean, and closeby. Good roads, to visit the very delightful areas. We have lots to do this week.

Avoid this Big 4, was the worst one we've stayed at and way overpriced for the accomodation, facilities and location. Our basic cabin smelt like damp and mould, plus the sliding windows were broken with wooden rods as temporary fixes plus the sliding doors would almost come off the hinges when attempting to open or close. Really dangerous for the small kids and I was actually relieved to check out and get back to the comfort and safety of our home!

Hi BoardingPass296533, We have cleaners in the cabin after every stay and pride ourselves on our quality we provide to customers, if you informed us about this at the time we would've moved you to another cabin and dealt with the smell immediately. The wooden rods are a security measure that are used to allow the windows to open without voiding security for customers, it's quite a common method which is probably why you had trouble closing the windows. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, and we have taken everything in this review as information to learn from for future bookings.

We loved our mini getaway. We had a complementary pack of chocolates on arrival. Check in was easy with late checkin option. Staff super friendly and all the amenities were fantastic. Easy central location. Our children where happy and we were placed right next to jumping pillow. Our family will be back.
