Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the worst accommodation I have ever had the misfortune to pay money for. The potacom cabin did have a bathroom, but not one that you’d easily use. And to charge $135 was outrageous. I do admit the aged linen on the bed appeared clean but that was the highlight. I gave it a one star as I had to but honestly it’s a zero.

We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay here in our caravan on a spacious, grassy site. The park is basic, but clean. Very quiet and peaceful location. Our pooches were in doggy heaven as the park is adjacent to the Showgrounds that are great for a run off the lead. Short walk in to Foster, which has a great variety of shops and eating places. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Park has been neglected the last 5 years but new owners (6 months) are doing a terrific job. All cabins starting to have paintwork done and the lawns are looking really good. Our cabin was spotless, very quiet and easy walk into Foster.. New owner is fastidious about clean cabins and the shared facilities, I am sure this place will be transformed in no time. Would stay again.

Visited a friend who rents a cabin in the park. $200 dollars a week for a mouldy, leaking cabin with walls peeling off. When it rained there was a big puddle of water behind the couch and by the toilet door. Bathroom sink looks disgusting with a lot of stains that cannot be scrubbed off. Sliding door does not shut properly unless locked. Stains on mattresses (looks like mould)! The owners haven’t addressed any of these issues and don’t seem to care. It’s either take what you have or ‘goodbye’. So when you Holiday there in a well kept cabin, please take time to empathise for the people living across from you.

We spent 10 days at Prom Central as a base for trips around the area. The caravan park is basic but friendly, helpful people make it better than that. Amenities were clean and although on the older side, worked really well. I have no complaints with the park however I do find some big rig owners are pretty arrogant. Two very large vans decided to set up right in front of the camp kitchen and the other amenities which meant walking between them and their pegged out sites to get to toilets etc. They also commandeered the front of the camp kitchen and talked very loudly after curfew time without consideration for others in the immediate area. When asked very politely to keep it down, a woman in the group got pretty stirred up..there is always one! Fortunately the others calmed her down. We would happily stay at the park again as the vast majority of people were friendly and quiet after curfew which is all we hope for.

Nice caravan park, pet friendly, large sites, walking distance to shops. A bit dated but spotlessly clean, helpful friendly staff - a delight to deal with. Definitely good location for day travel to Wilsons Prom etc.

Great park in the older style. Stayed 4 nights on a powered site. No bells and whistles Like Big 4 etc but then proce reflects that at well.Extremely well maintained and clean. Owners could not be more helpful ( in our case in particular - after a nasty bicycle accident.) Highly recommended if you need somewhere as a base to explore the local area. Close to town as well.

Nice spot within walking distance of Foster shops. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was a bit dated but nice and cosy, even in the cold weather. The cooking facilities in our cabin were ok but not amazing. Overall an enjoyable stay thanks.

We stayed in a 2bed cabin, it had heating but the cabin was terribly cold with gaps around the door and a freezing bathroom. There were very few blankets and the office was closed so couldn't get assistance. The cabin was very old and not in the greatest condition. The whole park felt quite neglected.
