From contacting you before you arrive to ensure their private snow transfer will be able to meet you at the ATS the service and experience at Huski is great. Bags were brought up to our room and it was a nice balance between a hotel and serviced apartment style of accomodation.

Rooms were clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and pillows. The location was great and with full snow cover it was a true ski in and out experience. Family friendly and the included breakfast was a nice touch.

Will happily go back next season and beyond.

The Huski was perfect for our entire stay. We had a two bedroom apartment which was perfect to accommodate our 2 children and ourselves. It had everything for all our needs and location was very convenient to ski lifts and restaurants. The hot tub on the terrace was a winner. Justin was great to deal with, ensuring our stay was comfortable.
We cannot wait to return.

From the moment we arrived at Huski Falls Creek we were picked up and looked after by Justin. We had the best time the accommodation was next level. Every minor detail has been covered. From floor heating to a drying room in your room for your snow gear. There are also lovely little touches like a Nespresso machine and T2 tea which we loved. Also the management is suberb, Justin and Clair were so great to deal with. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Huski.

Really unprofessional service.  On 25 Feb 22 I was contacted for dates in the coming season.  I indicated the dates that I wanted and later confirmed with the manager that it was definite and bought Epic passes for my partner and I.  I was not sent any paper work to pay a deposit so I chased them up by phone on the work and private numbers - this was early April.  There was no answer on either phone and so I texted asking for a call back.  This didnt happen.  In early May after stewing on this for a while I rang again and the phone was answered by new managers.  I have had several calls with them - the last being that I should 'just move on and that I hadnt paid a deposit' (which of course I couldnt do without paperwork).  They just told me they were fully booked.  I tried to be flexible with dates and length of stay and was basically told no time was available.  I have contacted Consumer Affairs and now know that they have not acted with due care and skill in their area of responsibility which is against the law.  We have also tried to get accomodation elsewhere but there isnt any because by May its booked.  Given we were contacted in February and I have texts confirming the dates and reservation and I am out of pocket just shy of $2000 I now have to take this matter further.  A first for me but when people do not act with due care this is the result.  Since sending the texts that prove the contact and dates 2 weeks ago I have heard nothing from the new managers.......what lovely treatment and service.

I had just about booked an apartment at Huski when my partner sent me the link to some of the reviews here. So I hesitated. But then after several good emails from the Manager of Huski, from whom I received prompt and friendly responses despite my numerous questions, I decided to go ahead with the booking. And I don't regret it.

We stayed for 3 nights from Jan 26th- Jan 28th and chose the 1 bedroom apartment with a spa. It was my partner's bday and so I wanted to make it a good getaway long weekend. The manager assured me that she would try to book us an apartment with the best view possible and even offered to upgrade us if she could. She also advised us what facilities would be available during our stay so I knew that the produce store and coffee shop would be closed.

On the day we were to arrive at Huski, I received a comprehensive text message about how to access our apartment, and other relevant information regarding check-in. She also let me know that she had been able to make good on her promise and had upgraded us to a bigger apartment.

The aparment:
Pros
*The kitchen facilities were excellent. We were able to cook proper meals including two full roast dinners and big breakfasts. The place had enough wine glasses and champagne glasses (very important for a weekend getaway)
*The shower was perfect. It was a comfortable size, the water pressure was constant, and the hot water never ran out. After a day out mountain biking or hiking it was perfect.
*The overall space of the apartment was nice. Comfortable, clean lines that made invited relaxation.
*Towels were plentiful. This was particularly handy with the spa there.

Cons (minor ones)
*There were no fly screens. So when the apartment heated up during the day, we could open the balcony doors and windows to let fresh air through, but not without inviting flies, mosquitos and midgies as well. Nothing mars a good dinner than a blowfly wanting to join you.
*The rangehood fan was quite loud. Makes it hard to cook with it on and talk to someone without feeling like you are shouting.
*Cd player wasnt working and it was too dusty behind the it for us to fiddle with cords to try to work out why.
*While not strictly speaking a con (since a working smoke alarm is great), beware the sensitive smoke alarms. Due to the size of the apartment and the placement, the alarm is very sensitive. A fact that I discovered when grilling chicken without first turning on the fan on the rangehood. And trust me, the alarm works well- so well I don't think my hearing returned fully for a whole day.

Overall, the apartment was very good for our weekend away and we hope to stay there again.

We arrived at Huski apartments on 26th December 2011 for a three night stay, after having spent two nights in Bright and three nights in Mount Beauty. We have never stayed away over Christmas before but wanted to do something different this year. We had luxury accommodation in the first two places and was aprehensive of staying at Huski after reading some reviews. Our first impression was probably not so good, as everything seemed closed but after being showed to our room by helpful staff and settling in we were pleasantly surprised.

Everything was provided for and the room was clean and comfortable for two, and a spa on our balcony was an added bonus. We loved the scenery and the walks and if I ever return to Falls Creek I would stay at Huski again. Maybe next time the cafe will be open and we can sample the great food that has been mentioned in other reviews, but we understand that if the resort is quite it would not be viable to open for a few people. Fortunately there were two supermarkets open and very adequate cooking facilities in the apartment.

We stayed at huski in September and the room was good, location good but when we wanted to have a coffee the cafe was always closed or closed early. They should tell people on their website the times the cafe is open and then it would be great if they stayed to those times!!!!
Also the rooms are not clean and overpriced. We have stayed at all of the oz resorts and when is resort really open, probably on July and August.
Come on if you want people to come up in September give them the same service or close!!!!!!!!!!

On mountain accommodation isn't cheap, but Huski is one property that deserves the price tag. If you want to do Falls creek properly this accommodation is perfect, centrally located with ski in ski out access. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment with a balcony hot tub, essential for soothing the muscles after a day on the slopes. Included breakfasts from the cafe downstairs were fantastic, it was great to be able to choose from a menu each day rather than a stock standard buffet breakfast.

The exterior of the building looks fantastic and the website paints a pretty picture. However, the hotel isn't the best value. The fixtures and fittings (couch, sheets) and the size of the apartment are disappointing considering the cost. Admittedly many places at falls creek are overpriced but this one seems even more so. Service was great. Hottub was a winner.

Just check with them but the studios don't have spas. In terms of the spas themselves being noisy - no - just a slight hum. Moreso it will be the people in them, but we were there mid ski season and only heard people in another room once or twice - as you would do staying in any other hotel anywhere in the world.
