Frueauf Village hotel is a subject of mixed opinions when it comes to value; while some guests find it pricey, others are content with the amenities provided, deeming it a worthwhile stay. Celebrated for its inviting atmosphere, the hotel offers clean and comfortable spaces, though the bar's music can sometimes be intrusive. Its central location garners praise for convenience, albeit not being perfectly ski-in ski-out.
The spacious rooms with notable amenities are well-liked, though the bed setup may disappoint some. Service at the hotel stands out, with staff providing a warm welcome, hearty breakfasts, and personal touches like jacuzzis.

Detailed Reviews
We stay here every year when we're at Falls Creek and it is always a seamless experience. The rooms are a good size and well heated, with a separate drying cupboard for each room.
Staff are always around and Milch cafe is well catered and staffed even in the off-season! And during snow season you can ski just about from your door down to the lifts.

We spent three nights at Fruehaf Village during the Labor Day weekend when the Peaks Challenge (cycling event) was on. This was our second visit and the apartment ('Tara') was just as good as last year. It is a little tricky down and up the stairs from the main entrance, but everywhere in Falls Creek is bulit on a slope, so expect some elevation!
Lovely bread, fruit, cereals, juice, milk on arrival. Standard pod style coffee machine and Twinings tea bags are supplied. The induction stove top is small but serviceable, as is the dishwasher. The apartment was well insulated, warm at night and cozy. Be aware, that the bed room and kitchen windows look straight onto the next door apartment, so best to keep the blinds lowered, lest you are the adventurous type! The jacuzzi is a nice touch, and snug fit for two people. It overlooks the apartment down the hill with glimpses of the valley and top of the mountain...and is a welcome tonic after a long hike or bike ride.

Recently stayed here for the Peaks Challenge weekend. In all it was a good experience. Room was well presented with fruit, loads of tea and coffee, cereal, bread, Orange juice and milk on arrival. Nice touches. Fit out getting near the end of its life in some areas, but clean and tidy. Couch was pretty worn and wouldn’t like to sleep on it. Bed was pretty comfy. Shower a bit of a pain to use, but not too bad once you get the hang of it. Restaurant downstairs serves good food and catered well for the weekend crowds. Might be the best dinner option in falls? Not sure, didn’t try many others but got that impression. Music from the cafe/restaurant was audible from the Studios located just upstairs, but not too noisy unless you are looking for a particularly early night.

Hi Nathan, Thankyou for taking the time to review Frueauf Village. Well done on taking on the Peaks Challenge. We appreciate you bringing up some points that need addressing, I will get a plumber to have a look after the shower ASAP as we did not know this was an issue. Plans are already in place to replace some of the furniture before this Winter season. Hope to see you back next time. Kind regards Frueauf Village

This accommodation is excellent. The rooms are warm, spacious and well appointed . On arrival there was a breakfast pack, generous and grately appreciated, with cereal, milk, bread, juice and spreads. All rooms had smart tvs, which was great considering we had a dissapointing week with little snow and no skiing. Had our accommodation not been so good, we would have gone home. But the spa, on the balcony, the Milche cafe/ restaraunt and the walks still made for a nice week away. Friendly and helpful staff, reasonably priced, will definitely stay here again.

An amazing place to stay at Falls Creek with a bunch of friends in Summer for the Ignition Mountain Bike Festival. Brett was great to communicate with, and the apartments were supplied with delicious breakfast foods. The hot tubs were so great after big days on the mountain bike trails, just need a bike wash.

Travelled to the snow in July 2021, apartments are in a great location close to a shuttle bus stop. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Facilities in the apartment are good, the kids loved the hot tub and I loved the fire and comfy big beds. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped but lacks bench space. Good for simple meals but not for major cooking. Photo shows the view from the balcony.

I had 4 adults and 2 children stay in the Secondo. It was perfect, heaps of space and natural light. It was such a treat to have a private sauna and the hot tub was excellent as well. The best part was having our own private dry room as we entered the apartment to leave our wet ski stuff then walk down the stairs to the living spaces. The beds were very comfy; heaps of towels and quality bedding. We used the kitchen, quite functional and a big fridge. We loved the welcome food pack, that went a long way for breakfast over the long weekend. It included fresh Milawa bread. It’s located towards the top end of the resort but perfectly situated straight off the ski run and 10m from Milch. This is now our top pick of accommodation on the mountain. Great apartment, under floor heating in the bathroom. Just great. Also includes a washing machine and dryer.

We stayed in Larissa - 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people. The apartment was big and very clean. Loved the fire place and floor heating throughout the apartment, which made it a very comfortable and cosy stay. Both rooms had smart TV as well, which was a plus. The apartment came with a hot tub in the balcony too, perfect for the cold weather. Breakfast bundle of bacon, eggs, bread, juice, milk, tea/coffee was also provided, perfect for groups who eats alot! The only downside, there was no power point for charging in the bedroom, but didnt really affect us anyway.
General Manager Brett was very helpful in answering all my questions, especially when we had to change our dates due to the lockdown. Would definitely be back here again!

We booked Sapporo Penthouse at the Frueauf Village and the penthouse is above the expectations. It has complete all cooking utilities, washing machine and dryer inside, gas fire place and the best of all is rooftop private jacuzzi. The bathroom floors also heated and TV build in with online channels such Netflix, Foxtel and Disney plus. Brett who is onsite Manager also very helpful and courtesy to us. Thanks for the complete firstday complementary breakfast. The apartment also centered in Falls Creek and close to all restaurants. Milch caffe in the village also provides us a nice lunch and dinner with professional staff. We will back again to Frueauf Village.

Hi,
Terrace has an apartment above it called Skyline apartment but the Terrace apartment has two levels and the bedrooms are on the bottom level so we don't get many noise complaints from this building.
The windows from the bedrooms & lounge lookout over towards the summit and don't lookout to other apartments.
We have an inhouse cafe which is normally closed by 11pm.
Ski resorts can be noisy from external noise, mainly from people chatting as they are walking home from a night out. We cannot control this but our guest services team are on call 24/7 to control in-house guests noise if needed.
Most of our spas are the Jacuzzi brand and are very quiet, we restrict spa usage after 11pm to keep noise to a minimum and night.
I hope this answers your questions, if you have anymore please call our reservations team on 1300 300 709 and they can help you.
Kind regards
Frueauf Village
