Although the owners were friendly Anne very much suggested I take my child elsewhere to eat. I did not feel comfortable taking him into the lounge and in turn we ate out every night. We were upgraded which we appreciated & had no issue with the room. I did however contract Hot Tub folliculitis and have needed antibiotics. I tried to contact Anne directly via their website to inform them but it is no longer working. There is also no email contact. Hopefully they read this and empty and sterilise their hot tub asap before more people contract it. With so many fantastic places to stay on the mountain we definitely won’t be back.

Everything was perfect. It was our first weekend getaway together. I was nervous but the ambiance of the hotel helped a lot with the jitters. The food, the view and the person your with already madr me happy, but us staying here made it feel more special.

We stayed at Summit Ridge this winter to ski at Falls Creek on 3 different occasions staying 15 nights in total at a cost of $5403. It’s a lovely property, however I cannot say the same about the overall management. Firstly after our initial stay both my husband & I contracted Covid . We had a second booking to stay at Summit Ridge in July & booked additional days at another falls creek lodge. This stay was within approximately 10 days of being ill with Covid. We were both still feeling ill after the 7 day quarantine period & contacted both properties to cancel our reservations; Summit Ridge did not offer a refund or credit note & basically told me we need to learn to live with Covid. The only basis I would get a refund was if the room was booked again . On further investigation I discovered the management of Summit Ridge extended their cancellation policy from 30 days to 60 days after my booking. I presume in anticipation of further refund requests. On the other had the other property ( Falls Creek Country Club) gave me a full refund & asked if I could send confirmation of a positive RAT test . I provided them with that & an email from DHHS confirming our diagnosis. A full refund was provided. I believed as we were staying multiple nights over the ski season at Summit Ridge they could have displayed some goodwill. And finally, on our 3rd stay this one in August ‘22 , I had arrived back to the accommodation after skiing & had to rush to my room as nature called . I didn’t have time to take off my ski boots due to the urgency. I was followed to my room by the management & admonished for wearing my ski boots in the lodge . Firstly , I had never done that before & was extremely embarrassed to have to explain why . Would I stay at Summit Ridge again …NO , would I recommend Summit Ridge , NO . I can honestly say the only saving grace is Anne, her attitude & customer service was exemplary. However that does not change the overall customer experience.

We are a family of three and our 5 night stay at Summit Ridge was a mixed bag. The hosts were warm and welcoming and the dinner we had there one evening was beautiful - make sure you book early as it is open to the public and books well in advance. The downside for us was the accommodation. We were in a mezzanine room - their premium room on the top floor. However the layout and amenities in the room made it really unworkable for us. There were two bedrooms on the mezzanine level where we slept, however there was no storage or hanging space for our clothes. The 'living area' was tiny with a sofa too small for the 3 of us to comfortably watch tv - but no tv's were upstairs to watch from bed. The small cupboards on the lower level included a small tea making area but again the layout was so cramped it was really unworkable. Finally on the first two nights there were children running around until late in the night up and down the hallway and stairs. So a mixed bag for us - we would happily return for dinner - but unlikely to stay.

visited the summit ridge restaurant at fallscreek tonight - I rarely write reviews and if doing so, wait until a few days later but this was too good to leave until the morning. The Chef at this place- Jake Burns/Byrnes is producing food that would be akin to Vue De Monde and Matilda in Melbourne and Quay in Sydney - we had the 8 course tasting menu and the food was completely unexpectedly insanely good - the beef carpaccio, smoked trout and duck were the best I've tasted. I can't believe this level of cuisine is being produced at a ski resort!!! - My hat off to Jake and his team - I don't now what he does with is off season and when skiing is finished but he is a seriously talented young chef. Awesome

We went in summer, so we were able to drive to the door of the Lodge and get settled before we parked at the bottom of the village. The Lodge is lovely with a beautiful room. Very clean and a huge bed. The view from the window was beautiful, full of snow gums and valleys. Breakfast was included and this was very good indeed. Staff were lovely and helpful. This was a great location in the village, close to most walking tracks and restaurants.

After years of holidaying in Falls Creek in winter and nearly 20 years since spending summer up there we decided we needed a break from ‘everything’ ( you know - work, grandchildren, Christmas, people, COVID etc) so decided to head up for some walking, rest and revitalisation. We had never stayed at Summit Ridge before but the location, views and “boutique” size was appealing. We were not disappointed. SR was quiet, clean (there have been some recent refurbishments) and the proprietors are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is a hidden gem serving an excellent cooked breakfast (included in our Tarif) and Dinner. Dinner was a real treat with an amazingly fantastic wine list, nice range of choices and first class meals and service - and views (ask for a window table when booking). We will be back - we had a great break away, had a lovely time and felt very welcome. NB: there is no parking “on the mountain” due to fire restrictions and available space so you need to drop off your stuff and park down the bottom and walk up to the lodge - this was not an issue for us (and we are in our 60s) but may present complications for some.

We had an amazing few days at Falls Creek between Xmas and New Year and Summit Ridge was the perfect base. Anne and Keith were warm, friendly and always ready to help with a smile. Our mezzanine room was spacious and comfortable and the shared lounge was well appointed with loads of games and books. The spa was great, even with the covid booking system and the ski and boot room seemed adequate also but not utilized this trip. The restaurant had an excellent dinner menu and the food was delicious. The lodge is well placed in the village with plenty of dining options in all directions. We will be back!

Great weekend skiing with Family. The lodge is high on the hill, not far from the Village Bowl. Ski in / Ski out as you'd expect at Falls Creek. Breakfast is included which is a bonus, as was the Sauna and Spa. Beautiful Fireplace and restaurant if you want to stay indoors and not venture out at night. There is a ski hire place approx 30 metres from the lodge Not sure about sizes of other rooms, but ours was bedroom and bathroom - beautifully heated (almost too warm). Nice window overlooking the valley below. I'd definitely stay here again
