We've been staying at Pretty Valley for many years. We've tried other places but returned to Pretty Valley. Nothing better than a fun day of skiing then being waited on by the fabulous staff. Relax and enjoy a few drinks around the fire whilst someone else prepares a 3 course meal - my idea of a great holiday. This year we had our sons (in their twenties) and some of their friends with us, they are all coming back again next year. It is also so convenient to the lifts and having ski equipment in house saves a lot of hassle.

Everything has been considered with your stay at Pretty Valley Lodge, it’s the most convenient stay on the mountain and the facilities are brilliant for socialising as much as skiing! Be sure to check out the theatre room when you’re resting your legs after a long day. Pool, Spas and Saunas are a massive bonus as well. Highly recommended!

This is the 15th year in a row that I've stayed at Pretty Valley. It's position to the lift is close, the staff helpful and the food anazing. The spa is pretty good too. It's also good for solos. Barry, the owner, always introduces me to lovely people to eat with (I'm a bit shy). It's also family oriented and most of the kids are well behaved. They have an early dinner and then go to play games or watch a movie in the little in house cinema so the adults can relax over dinner.

Arrived late afternoon Sunday 1/9 .. oversnow transport courtesy of the lodge soon had us settled, ski hire (free with accomodation) quickly sorted, our luggage in our room and a drink in our hands at the very friendly and reasonably priced in-house bar before a delicious tea ( 3 choices per each course). Barry was a great host, Carol was a very informative, helpful and friendly front-of-house 'manager', and all the other staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure each guest had a great time! Food (3 meals per day) were varied, cooked in house and amazing!! Fresh, tasty, fun and totally filling. Children were catered for with a 6 oclock sitting then kid's room for fun and activities and a cinema movie. Adults at 7pm with plenty of scope to mingle and meet others .. one of our highlights as we met and then made what will be lifelong friends. Our room with ensuite was not huge but was clean, comfortable and warm with ensuite and serviced daily. Ski hire was included and suited our needs perfectly. 4 x spas serviced the apres ski muscle aches while the pool was being repaired (heater and cover mat). Lockers for skis provided, in house drying room for boots, helmets etc. This lodge is excellent value for money, has a great atmosphere, pleasant, friendly and helpful staff and has to be one of the best lodges we have stayed at in all our travels. We are already booking for next year, a year in advance, as this little haven is sure to quickly book out!! Thanks so much Pretty Valley Lodge and staff for making our stay so enjoyable, easy and so much fun!!
