We had the best stay in Apartment 9. Photos don't do it justice - so spacious and everything you need for a fantastic family holiday. Beautiful big windows for watching the snow fall. The perfect place to come back to after a day on the slopes. Very warm and easy to get everything dry overnight. Easy access to the Aqueduct and Eagles lift. Very friendly staff. Strongly recommend Central Snowsports to hire your gear - very convenient and accommodating. Can't wait to come back, thanks Narelle and Team.
Great place to stay. Very friendly staff, beautiful location and amazing view. Liked the cleanliness and cosines. I liked how one of the staff guided me about my next trip and recommended best months to travel. I would definitely stay there again if I get a chance to go back.
Room 16 was a great large room, with 3 seperate bedrooms. Great kitchen with everything. A washer and dryer helped our stay for Peaks Challenge with lots of laundry. The photos are very accurate for this room, it was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. The staff have lots of handy tips, I suggest your spend 5 minutes talking to Narelle, she knows the place well!
Narelle is just sooooooooooooo rude, when we arrived, I we got a lecture of what we are exposed to do and what we’re not...that when all for about 4 hours! Let’s wrap it up and let’s just say she is rude,, fake manager! We also got woken up by a loud vacuum cleaner at about 7 ish morning Don’t go to this hotel/apartments I will pay heaps to have a good manger
We stayed in Apartment 10. What more do you want than a clean spacious apartment with outstanding views and location. Ski shop is downstairs and office is super helpful. Eagle Express chair lift is a 5 min walk. Highly recommended
Stayed in Apartment 18 with a family of 5 - was a comfortable fit for all of us. Was worried about the pull down bed in the lounge area but didn’t need to be, was a comfy bed and easy to pull up and down. Really well stocked kitchen with every appliance you need - even a rice cooker! The dishwasher is great and with a washing machine, dryer and airer we could wash our clothes each evening after boarding and be clean and dry for next day. There is no elevator so if not able to walk up a few flights of stairs it wouldn’t be ideal but as a young family it didn’t really bother us - just a few trips up when checking in was the toughest. This apartment is on the backside so very quiet and kids could have some snow fun while we watched from our balcony. Honestly a great little unit with everything that you could need for a great family snow holiday. Staff are lovely - Ursula was fantastic in helping me get everything sorted and very patient with all my questions! And Narelle was just lovely. We were at the end of the season so no ski in or out - which would have made it a bit easier to come back for lunch etc but shuttle buses are frequent, stop isn’t far away and we were able to drive up to Cedarwood to pack and unpack car which was handy. Overall a great holiday and would recommend Cedarwood 😊⛄️🏂…
I stayed in Cedarwood this past week with my family, the room was extremely clean, all amenities provided (and more ie rice cooker, toasty machine, Tupperware etc) and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend!
A beautiful outlook of the snow and you can ski from the slopes to the door in winter. Sadly the manager was disappointingly rude. She was aware of a very rowdy bunch next door but failed to warm them sufficiently, so they kept us up all night. Manager blamed us for not calling her, and seemed insistent on very lengthy lectures if anyone else does not quite understand any other building rules. Would happily pay more for kinder staff elsewhere.
After the painful transfer from the village we arrived at Cedarwood late Friday night, I had a terrible night sleep as the room was boiling hot all night with no heater on and the fact there isn’t a kettle in the room. Besides that I was still impressed with the rooms and facilities, but my god was that taste slapped from my mouth the second I opened my room door the next morning. This monster behind the reception desk named “Narelle” starts grilling me about wearing my dry and clean snow boots inside the hotel. After her endless reasoning and patronising lecture she walked me outside to show me the “SECURE” snow gear rack with a code lock that we must keep our stuff in, which is fair enough if the lock ACTUALLY worked. The door has dropped and the latch bolt doesn’t enter the striker plate. GOOD JOB NARELLE! Later that day I asked if there’s any reason why our room was so hot, but to my heavy regret I was stuck there getting lectured again because I didn’t leave the belcony door open, the bedroom doors open and the bathroom door open with the shower fan going all night so it sucks cold air through. Sorry Narelle, isn’t that a bit ridiculous to ask your guests to do? Sunday morning was awoken to the sound of a industrial size vacuum cleaner at ten to seven in the bloody morning then was yet again eternally lectured about losing room keys and having to pay 50$ if I lose them. Did I lose them? No? SO WHY ARE YOU SPEAKING???? Highly recommend not staying at Cedarwood. Well at least until Narelle gets a new job. …
My family went to cedarwood and walked out very disappointed. We stayed 6 nights and wasn’t very relaxing. I would not say it was home away from home. We woke up one morning By the sound of a VACUUM! The toilet in studio 4 does not flush properly. You would have to push for 5 seconds for it to flush down. I would definitely not recommend this to my friends or family if they ever go to the snow. The beds never get washed in between stay. ( if someone leaves the bed it is not washed) The walls are very thin and if your talking people others would hear very clearly. Narelle has attitude towards the phone. But Narelle has attitude over emails too. ( in every conversation it would have attitude) We wanted to book an apartment but we got a studio because it never said on the booking page. We went through booking.com. Thank you so much for this lovely stay ( not)…
