My Wife and I stayed at the Lakeside Villas during our honeymoon and loved it.
The serenity on the water is incredibly relaxing and there is absolute privacy inside and outside the cabin villa.
Everything inside the cabin is top notch with a nice bottle of sparkling in the fridge and bacon, eggs and tomatoes ready for a romantic champagne breakfast cook-up.
What really excited us was the proximity of the villa to everything you could possibly want.
We originally booked our stay expecting it to be somewhat isolated and quiet, however, to our surprise you find yourself staying only a short stroll from the restaurant and the Wine Centre!
If you feel like a short drive (say about 2 minutes), there are brewery's, eat outs and even a Rum distillery just around the corner.
5/5 a fantastic place to stay and unwind with all of the creature comforts.

Thank you for your amazing review! Location is everything- and I agree we are perfectly positioned amongst food, wine and the beach. We are very lucky to have some amazing distilleries just around the corner- a little surprise that not too many people are aware of. We hope you choose to return to us in the future.

We fell in love with the place with the villa and the estate itself. The lake was amazing, the ducks made you feel so relaxed. Sensational feeling.
You just don't want to leave the place that's how great it makes you feel in and out.
We would do it again in a heart beat.
Full of warmth and love. Extremely outstanding place to stay.
Having the self contained villa with everything you need is a bonus and the bbq is another option that was great to have as well.
Everything is at your finger tips.
We definitely will highly recommend it to anyone.
Let's put it this way you will have no regrets making reservations anytime throughout the year!
It's an all seasons place to be.

We certainly chose well in staying at Lakeside Villas, a generously sized place over a lake, with ducks swimming by as you look out of the windows. We enjoyed a BBQ dinner cooked on the deck, and had a couple of games of tennis on the lovely tennis court reserved for guests at the villas. Being only a 5 min drive from the Dromana shops, we found it handy to drive into town to get any provisions we needed from the fabulous Dromana IGA. We had everything we could have wished for, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and huge en-suite. The complimentary wine tasting is not to be missed, they staff there are fantastic.

i booked a two night package deal for a surprise for my husband to celebrate being together 40yrs as a couple. our package included a wine tasting of the estates wines. and a three course meal .Linda was extremely prompt in responding to emails. we had villa 1. it was fitted out to the highest standard absolutely loved all the wooden furniture and the towel stand in the bathroom and the full length mirror and the little bird above it.. plenty of utensils if u wanted to cater for yourself. loved being greeted by the swallows and moor hens i think and ducks all day long. lovely grounds to have a wonder around. it just so peaceful only tiny downside is hearing the dunns rd traffic cant be helped but it is the otherside of the lake. i left my phone charger behind they offered to send on at whatever the postage cost would be or i could collect it. we did the complimentary wine tasting and ben m who was a guide for it was extremely knowledgeable and friendly as can be, loved hearing about the history behind the wines of the estate and links to the family and history, even ended up purchasing some bottles to bring home for family as well as ourselves. the food was plentiful in our package. even made it last over one meal except the brownie might of been nice a slightly bigger portion when sharing for two. and the fresh bakers bread was delicious .absolutely couldn't fault our stay and would love to return will defiantly recommend to family and friends should they want to spoil their loved ones or a special occasion. great there's a wall safe and that it caters for people in wheelchairs' i would say.

Our three night stay at this beautiful property could not have been better. The villas are immaculate, spacious and so comfortable, with picturesque views across the lake that create such a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend including the grazing platter, which was very generous… and with the cellar door and restaurant both a few steps away, we’d also recommend visiting both as the wine and food were divine, and the staff were amazing. We were also lucky enough to get sunny mornings, and misty mornings during our visit. Definitely a great winter holiday, and you’ll want to cosy up by the fire for an early night, so you wake up early enough to enjoy the stunning dawn either from the balcony or the bed. Just perfect.

Thank you for your review. The Villas aspect from the deck over the water is so beautiful from all different times of day and weather. Sounds like you had the best of both! The cooler months are my personal favourite- they are so cosy. We hope you choose to return after we undertake a renovation to make the Villas even more special (opening June 22)!

What an incredible spot that was a 40 min drive from our place. The surroundings was just magical. The best place to be isolated in during this lockdown period of Covid 19 – staying home within the premises, surrounded by breathtaking views, a place to forget everything that was happening around the world. Waking up to sounds of nature and being able to exercise and meditate around the beautiful vineyard. No need to contact anyone as everything was communicated through email from Linda with all questions answered in a fast manner to facilitate planning. We brought up all the food we needed to cook in the full kitchen with quality pots and pans. We had the most unforgettable time here. I just want to say thank you and I hope to come back soon in the near future.
Am completely in love with this place.

We stayed in March and again in June . The place is so serene ( you do hear the road but its not too bad) . The ducks and birds are such fun and lovely reflections in the lake . The balconies are cleverly constructed so even when it was really cold you are protected. The log fire was pretty nice . The physical accessibility is good- the beds are a bit high but very comfortable. Linda sends you really good information about where to go and eat in the surrounding area.

Stayed at the villas for 2 nights midweek. It was a wonderful break but much too short! We could have easily stayed a week! The villas are spacious and beautifully appointed. The quality of the amenities is excellent and the extras such as breakfast provisions extremely generous. The location and view over the lake is wonderful - terrific to sit on the deck with a glass of wine watching the birds and sunset. Having the wine centre and restaurant (both also excellent) a very short walk away is an added bonus. Very highly recommended and we can't wait to return.

We recently had a relaxing stay at these villas. The accomodation is great for a relaxing weekend away, we had lunch at the winery restaurant and also enjoyed a wine tasting at the cellar door before heading to our villa. Each villa is really private, we didn’t even see another guest even though each villa was occupied, even whilst sitting out on the deck. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon by the fire and a lovely wake up call from the ducks in the morning outside our window. The kitchen is really convenient and the breakfast hamper was a nice touch. We are returning guests after getting married at this winery in 2016 and staying at these villas then and will definitely be coming back again for another stay.

We welcome children at the Lakeside Villas, but obviously they need to be supervised due to the lake. Children love feeding the ducks and playing on the tennis court. The restaurant is also children friendly.
