Enjoyed the 4 days, very clean amenities, hot water in Laundry (Washing Machines and Dryers) walking to shops, Town water, plenty of bird life , has a area for camping, non powered site, Dump point , plenty of room for the kids and quite :) only had issues with TV reception ..might of been where we parked Van .
Stayed for one night in a powered en-suite site. Very quiet park, en-suite was old but clean. Camp kitchen was adequate. Excellent price for the site. Good location. I didn’t check out any of the other facilities.
We are extremely happy with the Dimboola Caravan Park. We stayed here as a club and David the manager was most helpful. He went above & beyond the call of duty. We didn't want for anything. All our wood for the 5 days was supplied including the fire pits. Very clean amenities, well maintained grass sites. We were all very well looked after. Thank you David, we will be back.
We stayed on a powered ensuite site, WOW! I was pleasantly surprised, for an extra $10 we got an ensuite with a spacious shower, basin and a toilet separated by a door. The shower was nice & hot with good water pressure and was spotless. The sites were lovely grassed spacious areas and the camp kitchen was amazing, so big and immaculate with full size ovens, and plenty of bench space and even a TV. At night the children experienced some possums which was very exciting for them. I would highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.
What a delightful caravan park nestled beside the beautiful Wimmera river, shaded by lovely trees and to top it off the lush green sites make it a triple treat. David the manager works tirelessly to ensure the grounds are immaculate for all to enjoy. He is definitely proving to be an asset to this park, which we believe ..until he arrived ...it wasn’t anything special, the locals speak very highly of what he has achieved , which can only be a huge boost for this charming rural town. We first visited this park 1 month ago with our site then ,overlooking a tranquil little creek , sadly it has dried up this time ...we would love to see the council make plans for the water to remain year round ,as the little creek provided an oasis for bird life and was just a lovely spot to sit and relax under the shade of the old gums. However we are not complaining, just offering a little constructive feedback. Dimboola is a beautiful little town with so much to offer, well worth spending a few nights here....... the “Dimboola store “ is fabulous with great coffee , homewares and yummy treats and the “Imaginarium “ is an eclectic mix of all things wonderful including the owners who are only to happy to stop and chat... and for those who love a great country pub they have that too, the “Victorian” is a beautifully preserved historic pub offering delicious meals. Add to that the lovely “townsfolk “ who are so friendly and welcoming ........ Dimboola really is Delightful.…
