I stayed here for 3 nights during the last week of January 2021. Booking was a breeze and the prices were very reasonable, for the room i had. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The motor inn has old style charm, with modern conveniences. Parking was easy and you can park inside the property which gives peace of mind. Information booklet in the room was very thorough. The hosts were very accommodating and warm and willing to help in anyway they could.
Stayed one night as we had tickets to the Elton John concert at Rockford. The inn is easy proximity to the Yarra Valley wineries and the rooms are well insulated from the traffic noise even if you are at the front. The room itself had a separate sitting area and an enclosed balcony. The efficient air conditioning was very welcome on a hot summer’s day and the bathroom was well supplied with soap, shampoo etc. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and there is plenty of off street parking.
Stayed 1 night, rooms were of a large size, big bathroom too, comfy bed, hardly heard the main road as the balcony was enclosed (bottom rooms) but you could open it up and sit and relax. Plenty of parking out the back, good price, owners were lovely, would recommend.
A beautiful , clean and charming motel, with great furnishings and character. We will be back. We stayed there only for one night but plan to go back. We were worried about the proximity to the highway but our room had double glass glazing and was quiet and peaceful.
Thanks Renee and Rob for your great hospitality. Arriving late and tired after a delayed flight and peak hour traffic it was much appreciated to receive an upgrade to a spa suite. I enjoyed the spa very much as well as the fabulous breakfast on both mornings of my stay. The room was so well appointed I could have stayed there for a month! All I would suggest is some crockery and cutlery and maybe a microwave as guests have to self cater over the weekend when the restaurant is not open. The room was super quiet and dark at night which was great for someone who doesn’t sleep soundly at night. I will certainly return on my next Melbourne visit.
