is pleasant park. They have issues with the lights in amenities, we had excuses fired at us, but bottom line is its skuming in the power. Why spoil your park with things like this. You do yourselves no favours. Using the facilities is like entering a cave.
Lovely shady park on the banks of the Murray River 8 kms west of Corryong at the base of the Snowy Mts. Good base for tours in the area. Has disabled facilities, powered and unpowered sites as well as cabins. Very obliging owners.
I recently camped one night on a motorcycle trip. Beautiful grassed camp ground, close to Narielle Creek. Reception staff friendly. Camp amenities were clean but a tad dated. Enjoyed dinner at the pub back in Corryong (5km). Majority of users were Grey Nomads, who were friendly and quiet neighbours. A working dairy farm borders the creek and it was unusual to hear cows through the night and early morning – just adds to the country experience.
Spent three nights at Colac Colac Caravan Park, the park is located on the midlands Hwy about 5 kilometres from Corryong, The park has a mix of cabins i believe about 11 cabins most with en suite, The park is quiet and is located near a river/stream, the owners/staff are friendly and helpful. The cabin i stayed in was a 5 berth and was fitted out well with kitchen for those mobility impaired there is a slight step into the cabin. The park is a short drive from Corryong and the sights and attractions of the area, park would be busy during the festivals including The Man from Snowy River Festrival with bookings far in advance suggested Would i stay again , in fact i am again in 2020 for a family reunion
We booked a weekend away in the foothills of the beautiful Snowy Mountains at this stunning little Caravan Park where we have stayed before. Located about 8kms from the town of Corryong on the river it is such a quite and serene place for a weekend of R&R that we chose to boom into the luxury cabin which is in a quiet corner of the work overlooking the river. We had a great weekend. For the keen cyclist like myself there are plenty of good roads and hills to explore either on a road bike or trail with some spectacular views of the majestic "Snowy's" and its just a short hop into town for a meal from either of the hotels, restaurant bakery or take away cafes. Would really recommend this a great holiday destination for singles, couples of families.
