Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stunningly beautiful and so relaxing in a very homely yet exquisite house. We booked the Alfred suite and we felt like royalty. Andrew and Katheryn are wonderful hosts and their love and devotion to their home/accommodation is world class. We will return . Mark and Suzi

We had the most amazing experience. My 2 young kids loved the house, and sitting by the fire in the lounge, and of course the dogs that paid them a visit. Kathryn and Andrew are amazing, we enjoyed chatting to them and hearing about all they do for the Veteran community. The food was amazing, and the house and rooms clean and comfortable. Definitely a great place to relax and unwind. We will be back.

We stayed here about 3 years ago and when we got an opportunity to return we were again blown away. It is an absolute gem. Quiet location. Gardens are beautiful. Meticulously clean. Attention paid to every detail. The Alfred Suite has an upstairs nook - where we whittled away an afternoon with a sip of red wine. Breakfast is first class. Next time we would arrange to have dinner in-house so we can stay within the confines of this luxurious bubble. Highly recommend.

The ideal venue for a relaxed stay. Cosy sitting room, warm bedrooms a sensational dining room furnished in period style, scones and cream on arrival and an excellent breakfast menu And it was a hospital in a past life so you are "covered" there as well. We went in winter so the return trip has to be in summer!

Everything about this place is about as good as it gets. Very comfortable beds, lovely guest lounge with games available and a lovely touch with Lindt chocolates to snack on. The breakfast is excellent - great choices, plentiful and delicious. The weather was too cold for us to enjoy the lovely garden and we looked enviously at the verandah with outdoor seating.

Drove the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne on Easter weekend and after fighting traffic and crowds, were delighted to be warmly welcomed at this B&B. Lodgings were well appointed and most comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommend this oasis between Pt. Campbell and Hall's Gap!

This is a place you must not miss. A great welcome, the room was large and beautifully done, the sheets and towels fantastic. The whole place oozed quality. The breakfast was the best. Plenty to see nearby. Will certainly be back again. Thank you again to our lovely hosts.

A return visit to this fabulous BnB was just as good as before. The house and gardens are beautifully presented. Each suite is individually decorated and so very comfortable. The breakfast is superb. This is what every BnB should aspire to! We’ll be back again!
