We had a lovely stay at the Graces. Elaine went to so much trouble to make sure the property was beautifully prepared and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the little extras, expecially the home made florentines, and the cooked breakfast in the morning eaten in the garden was superb. The property is a short easy walk to the main street of beechworth and the room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend staying here if you're heading to Beechworth.

The Graces Beechworth is a wonderful place to stay, walking distance to all features of Beechworth, very comfortable rooms, warm in the depths of winter and a hostess who provides a great cooked breakfast and is so knowledgeable about local history and all the wonderful places to visit in the surrounding areas. Thankyou Elaine for providing a great environment during our stay.

The Grace's Bbechworth is lovely accommodation, close to town ( walk to cafes and restaurants in 5 minutes, the road is flat). A lovely old house set in a lovely cold climate garden.
The owner Elaine greets you with a warm welcome, shows you around the house and tells the history of the building. She told us some of Beechworths history, there are coffee table books on the subject in the lounge room.
The rooms are warm, bed is comfy, extra such as umbrella, ironing board are to be found in armoire. Bedroom was very quiet.
There is parking for 3 cars on site.
Breakfasts are plentiful and a good choice that should suit everyone. This is served in the dining room around a communal table, we had wonderful fellow guests to talk with each morning.
The lounge room is a lovely space to spend time in after dinner, we set the fire and enjoyed that very much on 2 evenings.
Elaine provides a lovely gift of Florentines, carafe of port and small bottle of proseco. A nice touch.
We spent 3 night here, and were very happy with our choice of accommodation.
The only quibble I had was low water pressure in the shower, but this is a first world problem, and by no means detracts from our enjoyment of staying at The Grace's.
During our stay there were 2 other couples that were return guests, that says a lot about a business.
We would definitely stay here again on visits to Beechworth.

From the moment we arrived at The Graces, Elaine made us feel welcome. Our room was large and comfortable and a warm haven from the winter chill. So too was the lounge with its open fire and comfy chairs.

Elaine was a great host, from providing afternoon tea on arrival, making delicious breakfasts and showing us around the property. She provided lots of information about the history of the area and advice about things and places we would want to see and do, which made our short stay really interesting and enjoyable.

We will certainly be back , thank you Elaine

This was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you Elaine for all you recommendations on places to see and even helping us get a last minute dinner booking for New Years Eve.
The Graces was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our room with ensuite was cool after the heat outside and very quiet. The cooked breakfast each morning was delicious.
Highly recommend The Graces for couples and we would love to return one day.

There is so much good to say about The Graces...this lovely garden property is located on a quiet street within fairly easy walking distance of parks, shops, etc. Our room was beautifully and comfortably decorated with coffee service, a refrigerator for cool drinks, etc. The welcome we received from the proprietress was outstanding - a small bottle of champagne and a small carafe of port, if desired. We were given some of the very interesting history of the house before providing our preferred breakfast details for the hot cooked meal the next morning. We were served our individually cooked breakfasts outside in the garden - all was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious - a great beginning to a long driving day ahead...we'd definitely recommend The Graces Beechworth!

The Graces is a beautiful old 4 bedroom house, hosted by Elaine who is very knowledgable and helpful. The rooms are a good size, each with en-suite. Elaine provides a fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning. The Graces is within easy walking to the main areas of Beechworth and is a great choice of accommodation.

We were unsure what to expect from this B&B, but looked forward to the experience, and we were not disappointed. Elaine, our hostess was welcoming and greeted us enthusiastically, had a number of little unexpected touches for us, and describes herself - very accurately I must say - as a “history sponge”. Very informative, helpful, and our stay short though it was turned out to be most enjoyable. The house was within easy walking distance of the town centre and we would happily recommend it as a place to stay.

Its rather strange doing a trip advisor review after so long being cooped up because of Covid.
My wife and I decided to insert a break of a few days into our trip driving to Melbourne to see our son. We decided to spend a few nights in Beechworth and settled on "The Graces" , and we were glad we did.
When we arrived we were greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable host, Elaine, who showed us to what was an excellent comfortable room, more importantly with a comfortable bed.
Our breakfast was more than ample and can be either served in your room, the dining room or the garden. We selected the dining room given the time of year (it may have been cool outside).
The Graces is within easy walking distance of the town, it's restaurants and attractions.
Elaine was very knowledgeable of the districts history, attractions and eateries which was good as it was our first time in the area.
On the whole the stay was excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Graces to friends or stay there again.

I had a great stay at The Graces Beechworth. Elain the owner is very friendly and ensures you have everything you need, including recommendations for places to eat in town.
The room was spacious, clean and well appointed.
I would happily stay at the Graces again on a future trip to Beechworth, particularly because it is very centrally located, which allows you to explore the town by foot.

Hi there Karin! A gift voucher is a wonderful way to make sure they really do take the time to "get away". It is a simple process ...just decide on the value based on the number of nights at a weekday or weekend rate and either drop me a line or phone and I shall prepare the voucher accordingly and forward it to you or your son. They phone to book providing I am able to accommodate on the night(s) they have chosen. The voucher is valid for 12 months. (not redeemable for cash.) Bank Transfer or credit card is the easiest form of payment to be made when arranging the voucher. If you have any further concerns do not hesitate to contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you. Warm regards Elaine
