Dinner in the main restaurant was absolutely sensational..... My wife had the roast pork on the special board & I had the pork belly from the special board as well... The pork belly was so nice the crackle on the belly was so delicious and crunchy it wasn't soft at all, the portions were perfect just enough 4 large pieces of pork belly served with creamy mashed potatoes and butter veggies. My wife had the roast of the day being pork... The roast potatoes and pumpkin were so good the pork meat was so tender and the crackle was one of the best crackle that she had..... Well done Chef very happy with the food job well done excellent service by the wait staff and bar staff too.... thank you everyone We will both be recommending the THE HIBERNIAN HOTEL for a great feed....
Centrally located motel style accommodation. Great to,have bedroom separated from lounge/kitchenette/dining area. Serviced daily. Comfortable bed. On-site parking. Walking distance to all restaurants. Hotel itself had bar in operation, but no meals because of COVID. Basic breakfast included. Would definitely come again.
Very friendly staff and a smooth check-in on arrival. Large 2 bedrooms [Queen size] with very comfortable beds. Spotless bathroom. We had room 5. Bedrooms are upstairs so very quiet. We dined at the bistro both nights. The food was excellent as were the wait staff. We highly recommend this motel. Jonathan
We booked two rooms 1 had two bedrooms a small kitchenette an eating Area and a lounge room 2 room had 1 bedroom, kitchenette eating area and Landrieu We had a ball. The rooms with very clean and comfortable. The owners were absolutely lovely. The hotel is right in town, so we could walk to just about everything. We ate at the pub at the Front on the first night, and the food and Service was fantastic. We will definitely be going back.
Fabulous location, very roomy and clean. Great price and parking very convenient. Definitely stay there again.Close to all of the walks, the churches the info centre. Loved visiting the old buildings on the Main Street and having fabulous coffee.
Staged here overnight on my way to Melbourne. Simply loved it! Booked on line, showed-up by 4pm, no fuss, no muss...got the keys and parked in the allocated spot. The room was very well appointed, spacious and spotless! They include a few slices of bread, butter, jam and vegemite as well as cereals, milk and coffee/tea. This place is across the street from a nice IGA and Bottle shop. This place is also very quiet, and I highly recommend it for its value...I will be back!
We came to Beechworth for a Christmas get away, so we spent a few nights staying here. The rooms are clean. Staff are very friendly. Usually when we go away, we tend to take our pillows as they’re always more comfortable than most places we sleep at. But this time we forgot them. So the supplied pillows we found to be harder than what we liked. The bed was similarly a little on the hard side too. But I guess it’s a personal thing. It’s always nice having accommodation near the town center. We walked everywhere, using the car only when seeing the sights out of town. I’d recommend staying here without hesitation.
We have just spent two nights in a two bedroom ground floor apartment at The Hibernian. Not knowing much about the Hibernian accommodation I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of this apartment. We had a large lounge/kitchen area, large bathroom and two bedrooms[the master with it's own T.V.] with plenty of room. The apartment was spotless.A continental breakfast, and newspaper, was provided each morning. Although next to the Hotel we did not hear any noise and it's central position is a bonus. I would certainly stay here again and I should mention that Peter is the consummate host.
We have been to this hotel on numerous occasions without incident. Which is why we decided to go there for my 66th birthday . On arrival we were asked if we required drinks - to which we acknowledged we please two drinks please. We then went ahead and ordered our meals. We paid and thought the initial drinks would have been included with our meals bill. We proceeded to eat our meals. We needed more drink so i went to the bar and paid and got our drinks. Seeing another couple eating a desert , my neighbour decided she would like a desert but because we had a main meal as it turned out we couldnt fit it in . we were just about to leave and one of the wait staff yelled across the lounge asking . if we were going to pay for our initial drinks -- embarrassment plus for us I would have given a eight out of ten for the meal however due to the lack of professionalism by the wait staff my rating then dropped to a two. the meals were great, the bar staff was really proffessionaal however the wait staff lack professionalism and i believe customer service ranks highly in my book. if you are looking for a meal , the meals arent bad here however even at mcdonalds .they know to charge for the drinks at the same time as the meals. Shame they dont seem to know this at this pub ???…
i have just had to cancel our booking due to ill health and Peter was just wonderful, there was no cost and the booking was for three nights commencing tomorrow. He wished the person a speedy recovery and looked forward to welcoming us in the future.
