Okay, so what's not to love about this place, nothing really. It has everything you need including a free laundry, friendly service, delicious (hot) cooked breakfast or continental breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms with all the usual amenities, nice outdoor area with pool and bbq, within quick driving distance to town with all its historic features, etc. Oh, and there was very little if any at all traffic noise. We've stayed in many hotels, resorts, b and b's, both overseas and in Australia over the years, and this property is right up there with the best of them. Many thanks to Steph and Dan (who btw I think happens to be a Tigers supporter)

This is a gem of a place to stay. After reading reviews we decided to stay here and it did not disappoint. The rooms are well appointed. The bed was amazingly comfy and the complimentary breakfast was awesome. It was the little additions that will have us come back on a regular basis. Coffee machine, King sized bed, hot brekky, and beautiful surrounds. Owners were awesome, and couldn’t do enough for us. For the price, I would HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!

We paid $140 per night with breakfast Pros Beautiful room that felt more like staying in someone's home Lovely furnishings and decor Very comfy bed Good, cooked breakfast which was a lovely bonus Nice, quiet surroundings Friendly, welcoming owner Cons It is a bit far from the centre of town for us, so couldn't have too many toddies as we had to drive :) Highly recommended and we will be back in the summer so we can use the pool and enjoy the garden.

We had a 3 night stay here. The staff are friendly and the room was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchenette. Coffee pod machine is a plus. Loved the outdoor BBQ and seating but weather a bit too cool to use. Would be lovely on a warm summer evening. The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations - generous serves and delicious. A 15 minute walk to the centre of town.
