This is fairly typical country motel not worthy of being labeled ‘luxury’ or ‘boutique’ as described on their in house information guide or the signage at the front of the motel. Yes, as per so many of previous reviews - the place is clean, the staff friendly, the rooms adequately fitted out and about a minute drive to the Main Street of Beechworth. The complimentary breakfast is a unique offering but overall the most mentioned aspects from a majority of reviews could be said of most motels around country Australia. There were faults that should be said. There were no luggage racks, coasters for drinks or dish brush to do dishes (dishes need to be cleaned in the bathroom vanity). The quality of fixtures are reasonable working order but are outdated and can’t be described as ‘luxury’. The bathroom is small and fittings in need of updating such as the toilet (which our full flush always got stuck). Overall a nice place with perfectly fine amenities within a short drive into town but from all my years of travel it’s your fairly standard motel with friendly Australian hospitality.

Thank you for your review. As you mentioned we don't label ourselves as a luxury motel, we are just good country hospitality. The complimentary breakfast we found seems to be a winner with guests as other motels in town don't offer it as complimentary but charge guests extra. Some other points: Dish brush is supplied for guests that stay multiple nights otherwise used cutlery/crockery is removed and replaced with fresh crockery by housekeeping. If a dish brush was required we are here and reception is open 7 days a week and can supply anything you needed. Bathrooms were to be renovated in 2020 but with constant lockdowns and minimum income any money we had was used to keep our business open over the last two years (It has been a tough period for small businesses), rest assured they will be done in the near future. Thanks for staying and we hope to see you again in the future.

Just finished a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Beechworth on Bridge with two other couples. Our hosts, Steph & Dan, were bloody fantastic and could not enough for us. The rooms are roomy & clean and the gardens offer some nice shaded areas to sit and chat so you don’t have to stay in your room. There is also a lovely pool area to relax on these hot days. The breakfasts are great and are included in your room rate. We will definitely be back.

I was looking online at places to stay in Beechworth using various accommodation booking sites with prices similar to each other. I ended up ringing the motel directly and received a better rate, which was awesome. We stayed 4 night (5 people) and had two rooms. We arrived in Beechworth and headed for the accomodation. When booking in we were met by a polite, relaxed well informed man who could not have been more helpful. Our rooms were side by side with adequate parking directly out front of the rooms. The motel surrounds were clean, tidy and well presented offering plenty of outdoor seating in both the shade and the sun. The rooms themselves were well equipped and clean which is more important in these Covid days. The beds were comfortable and rooms had a couple of small treats which were pleasant surprise, being complementary custard cream biscuits, coffee pod machine and complimentary breakfast daily. The accomodation is located just a short walk from the town centre while offering peace and quiet of a small country town. If in Beechworth I would recommend the Beechworth on Bridge.

Okay, so what's not to love about this place, nothing really. It has everything you need including a free laundry, friendly service, delicious (hot) cooked breakfast or continental breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms with all the usual amenities, nice outdoor area with pool and bbq, within quick driving distance to town with all its historic features, etc. Oh, and there was very little if any at all traffic noise. We've stayed in many hotels, resorts, b and b's, both overseas and in Australia over the years, and this property is right up there with the best of them. Many thanks to Steph and Dan (who btw I think happens to be a Tigers supporter)

This is a gem of a place to stay. After reading reviews we decided to stay here and it did not disappoint. The rooms are well appointed. The bed was amazingly comfy and the complimentary breakfast was awesome. It was the little additions that will have us come back on a regular basis. Coffee machine, King sized bed, hot brekky, and beautiful surrounds. Owners were awesome, and couldn’t do enough for us. For the price, I would HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!
