Great place to catch up with friends and family for a special birthday. Staff all good and helpful. Sambell caravan park is neat, tidy and clean. The workers cleaning cabins everyday appeared to be doing a great job, even sweeping any cobwebs down on every clean on the out side. Throughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely do it again.

My husband and I stayed at Lake Sambell Beechworth Caravan Park for six nights in our caravan. The caravan park toilets and showers were spotlessly clean (no matter what time of day it was). The water pressure in the showers was amazing ( much better than showering in our caravan). Fancy finding pegs on the community clothes lines and a rubbish bin only metres away (we didn’t have to walk from one end of the park to the other trying to dispose of rubbish). A walk around the lake was a great way to get in 35 minutes of exercise each day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a wild duck visit us each day for breakfast. We had a lovely time. Compared to other parks we’ve visited - Lake Sambell Caravan Park is a TEN!!

Very family friendly caravan park within 20mins walking of the town Beechworth Victoria. Green grass sites under the shade of trees, with wild life of ducks, magpies, kookaburras and owls. Amenities to a high stanadard and mostly, plenty of helpfull staff avaible around all day. Thankyou again for a wonderfull stay.

A quiet, pleasant campsite, friendly helpful staff. I used the old facilities (rather than walk across to the newer ones) but they were clean and the shower was fine. Scenically pretty, close enough to town for convenience, easy access to all the local activities.

Our first Caravan stay at Lake Sambell Caravan Park Beechworth. We were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. The Caravan Park was near capacity due to a Public Holiday for the Melbourne Cup, however everyone seemed respectful of others. We'd had lots of laughs with antics of all the children's and had the opportunity to pat some friendly dogs, not leaving the owners out with some interesting conversation. The amenities were always clean and the drinking water didn't need filtering. All up a great experience

This place is amazing. So friendly from the minute you arrive. Escorted to your site and assistance with parking van. Lovely location, park well maintained and you could almost eat off the amenities floor. Absolutely spotless. Music playing made a nice vibe. Lovely bush walking trails up the back of the park and the lake with families of ducks and ducklings was sweet to watch. Camp kitchen and herb garden for visitors use. Would highly recommend. Well done to staff.

Absolutely beautifully appointed caravan park. So well maintained, better than some hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is within walking distance of the main townsite. Just the perfect spot to spend any amount of time.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Escorted to caravan site and given expert assistance to back the van in. Perfect. Camp kitchen clean. Amenities block spotless. Lovely location on shore of Lake Sambell. Easy access to walking/cycling tracks. Easy walk in to Beechworth. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Could not speak highly enough of the park and staff. On arrival Ryan escorted us to our site, then guided our van effortlessly into place. He then went out of his way to ensure that the van was level and we were safely in place. Five star service from the very start. The park is kept in excellent condition and the team could not be more friendly or helpful. Have booked in for a holiday there again early next year.
