Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Quiet little place, a fair amount of older-style ensuite sites. Camp kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave and BBQ, as well as a wood stove heater for the colder months. The access road gets a little full-on when there's an event at the oval, there needs to be signage for those attending any events there that the road is the entrance to the caravan park so keep it clear.

Room Tip: Use the oval entrance, as the "second" one on Google maps is a closed gate.

Good place to sit back and relax for a couple of days. Ensuite was pretty basic and typical of a Council run park but for $40 per night was good value. Staff were friendly and cheerful. Very relaxing place right on the lake.

Clean amenities, friendly service, flexible, amenable. Pretty lakeside location. What more could you ask for from a council run caravan park after paying only $30 for the 1 night stay. Beaufort & surrounds
nice too. Market day on Saturday we were there.

Absolutely beautiful view of the lake .....But the hygiene of the amenities block is appalling. There is no sign of a professional cleaner, the shower curtain also has red mould on it. Only one shower works. This is an old facility but it could at least have someone clean it. The council needs to show some diligence here. Not worth the money spent.

Temporary Caretaker[ Im normally only here on Wednesdays.] didn't really explain all the options to us. Great locatiom. Enjoyed the night but bbqs were dirty. rubbish bins smelly and female toilets left a lot to be desired. Recycles were not close by. Council park. Council needs to get its act together

We were travelling further on but saw the sign for the camping ground so thought we would take a look. It is a small park with a few cabins on Lake Beaufort. It looked quite pleasant so we thought we would stay the night. We found a spot close to the amenities which were quite small but they were clean and there weren't a lot of people in the park so this wasn't a worry. We went for a walk around the lake before dinner which was quite pleasant. We only stayed the one night but then we didn't have far to travel the next day to return home.

We stopped at this small caravan park for two nights.
The bathrooms are clean but sinks (oddly) have no soap. Showers very good.
Beaufort seems to have a lot of heavy truck traffic. While not a big issue, you can hear trucks overnight despite being a fair distance off the main road.
There is a nice walk around the lake with exercise stations.
Walk into town. Good cafes, bakery and decent sized supermarket in town.

We went for an overnight visit to see family. The motel was booked out, thank goodness as we arranged to stay in the deluxe cabin which we were so glad we did. Well equipped throughout and yes SPOTLESSLY CLEAN.
This little hidden gem is definitely on go back to when traveling in the caravan.
The council could well do improving the roads and the lake is lovely and abundant with bird life.
Thank you again to the wonderful cleaner you are a treasure.

Great caravan park on the edge of the beautiful Beaufort Lake. A lovely easy walking track around the lake. Easy access for kayaking. Little jetty for fishing too. Or just sit and enjoy the peace and quiet with a good book.
Short walk into town with lovely craft, gift and antique shops along with plenty of cafes for a coffee, lunch or a snack.
Beaufort Golf Club across the road and the local footy ground adjacent to the caravan park.

Neat clean, friendly. Walking distance into town and great adventure walks around the lake.
Town has bricka brack shopping and great local cafes, local old fashioned butcher and locals chip in for fresh backyard eggs on sale in many shops along the strip.
Golf course accross the road.
Facilities are top notch whether ensuite or shared
