Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Last night, we stayed in a new budget cabin at this park. Although it was tiny, it was well appointed with everything we needed, as well as clean and comfortable. Management was excellent to correspond with. I'm glad we arrived in daylight as unit was hard to find, even with the park map that was supplied.

We stayed in Bacchus Marsh overnight for a friends birthday. The cabin was clean, comfy and tidy. Everything we needed and check in was super easy. Only minor downside was it is a little noisy as our cabin was quite close to the car park and main road. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Site 1A. This and the next three sites were just dirt. No cement slab, no grass, and sloped. $45/night. Turns out they were construction sites for new cabins. $45/night. Complained but just got a shrug of the shoulders. It was late afternoon and we had no choice but to stay. It rained, and we had to step out in clay.

We stayed at this park when our Spirit of Tasmania sailing was cancelled due to the floods. They could not have been kinder or more understanding. They allowed us to book day by day until we heard from the ferry company and knew what was going on and when our replacement sailing would be. We booked into a deluxe cabin which was spotlessly clean and comfortable. In the end we stayed only one night as we were told by the ferry that we wouldn't sail until Thursday, and thought we needed more room than a cabin offers for a four day wait with teenagers who just wanted to be home. So we found a unit elsewhere. The manager Jenny was completely understanding of this and I can't recommend this park highly enough. There are rumours around of the price of other accommodation skyrocketing, but the management of this park appears to be set on doing the right and decent thing by people. It's encouraging to find this still happens!

Very friendly people who are more than happy to -and extremely clean amenities. Would recommend staying here. New managers are busy adding more cabins and tidying up the gardens with native plants. Thank you

Had a lovely stay at this park. Easy hassle fee check in, nice grassy site and amenities block was absolutely spotless. Is a short walk into Bacchus Marsh shops (bit of a hill climb coming back though). Cannot fault this park and will definitely be back.

On Sunday our motorhome had mechanical problems on our way to Bacchus Marsh and we had to return home. We called the phone number they provided to inform them, however they did not answer and there was no ability to leave a message. We emailed them immediately to advise we were not arriving and also called on the Monday morning to ask if we could either 'park' the fee we paid for use at a later date or have a refund. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful but advised the new owners do not allow either - i.e. no 'parking' or refund - unless you give them four (yes '4') days notice which is useless in an emergency. Also, their site still advertises they belong to the Family Parks network, however according to their office and the Family Parks web site they are not a member. They have lost our future business over something which would not have cost them a cent as we had planned to rebook once our vehicle was repaired. No way to run a business!

We used this caravan park as our last stop before attempting the Melbourne traffic to head towards NSW. We turned up without a booking (23ft van) and found that they were fully booked, the office found us a spot down by the storage which actually worked out quite well as we did not need to unhitch. There was a fair bit of freeway buzz most of the night but it wasn't unbearable. Good walk down to the main Street but steep coming back 😜. Amenities are spotless and they are dog friendly.

We stayed at a powered site in our own van. Spots are covered and have good shade. We enjoyed our time at this gorgeous caravan park and will definitely return someday. Clean with very friendly and helpful owners/ staff.
