My wife and I recently traveled to East Tennessee to do some hiking, and booked here in part due to some of the great reviews on tripadvisor. After visiting this B&B, we have figured out why it gets such good reviews: they are all written by people over a certain age. For those of us not yet retired, here is...

The Garden Inn has wonderful amenities - clean, comfortable rooms; beautiful, expansive walking areas; a dramatic overlook that's just a short walk away. What I found to be convenient was how quickly and easily you get there - just a short drive from the exit ramp off busy Interstate 40 near Monterey. You can enjoy a nice retreat without driving...

Immaculately clean rooms, not large but big enough, nicely decorated, tasteful and not overdone. Felt very peaceful. Gorgeous views out the back to the plateau. Very nice host, made us feel welcome. Overall quite enjoyable stay. One tiny critique... The tiny old TV in the room. Those could use an update. But who goes to a bed and breakfast to...

For us, this the ultimate in great places to stay. It is located in a breathtakingly beautiful spot at the edge of a cliff overlooking a forested valley. The room was clean and comfortable, of course, and the breakfast was terrific in taste, presentation, and decor. Mike went out of his way to accommodate my wife's need to avoid gluten...

My husband and I do not get away together very often. We have a large household and it requires a great deal of our time. The host and staff were very accommodating and engaging. Breakfast each morning was both different and delicious. Mike was very knowledgeable about the area restaurants and activities. We were there 3 nights and stayed in...

Once there, we were escorted to a small honeymoon room and immediately told the rules! No smoking, no eating in the rooms, certain doors can't be used due to security, you must be at breakfast at a certain time ( this was our honeymoon ) and they wouldn't bring it to the room. We also were told that we better...

I will definitely go back. Mike and staff made us feel like family -- the relatives that really want you to stay with them! The food was delicious, the rooms were comfortable and the grounds were spectacular. Loved waking up to the view in the Mountain Air room on the 2nd floor in the back corner.

First time staying in a B&B, and it was wonderful. The owners Mike and Mirtha and staff Victoria were all so friendly and helpful. The B&B is so clean and refreshing and the food was excellent. The grounds and scenery were beautiful, a wonderful place to walk, especially in the morning. There is a lovely waterfall and water pool complete...
