Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fabulous park with a great big playground and indoor swimming pool. Highly recommend this place although in summer a wee bit expensive but it’s quiet and location spot on for summer holidays. Staff are very friendly Camp kitchen clean and lovely clean park

Same as most BIG4 sites, cheap, easy and has pool, park, tv room etc. We only stayed on a site so can’t comment on the cabins, but the toilets and showers were in desperate need of a proper clean. Everyone had left doors open and lights on so there were bugs everywhere. I was bitten to pieces from one shower! Even some signs on every door to say turn the lights off and keep the doors closed would help. But still someone should be cleaning these toilets in the afternoon.

I must say that i am a little disappointed. The park and units are great, pool a tad cold though compared to another Big 4 we've stayed at. When checking in, i was not greeted in a welcoming manor and whenever i went to reception i felt like a bother. Im really disappointed with the staff and how unfriendly they are. Although its a lovely family friendly park, i will not come back here because of the staff and how they make you feel unwelcome. Apart from them, we have had a lovely time away.

I love the Big4 parks. Particularly when you've got a lot of friends meeting up for an event. Anglesea is well appointed, neat, friendly and comfortable. We had a cabin and it it housed a bunch of us for a weekend sojourn. A pity we were there in the off-season but at least it was a lot quieter. It's very close to the "action" at Anglesea which is really the water. As a sea kayaker, I can say it would be a very convenient venue for a group event just like the bigger parks at Umina and Bateman's Bay but this time we only had a couple of kiddy kayaks to play in the river. The WiFi is pretty bad, though. A couple of repeaters would fix this as the park is not enormous.

Great holiday park. Good play area for kids and a nice indoor swimming pool. Communal pool area is functional and very clean. There’s also an activity centre with a few table games. Reception has a simple cafe area where you can spend $20 credit given on arrival. There’s also a range of DVDs to borrow. Only issue is wifi. Advertised as free, but should be advertised as very slow and unreliable.

The park is not at the beach and is not huge. It meets the usual Big 4 standards of everything being well done. It is not cheap, but nothing in Anglesea is cheap. We too a top two bedroom cabin and it was hard to fault it and it is hard to fault the park itself. The worst I could find was some bird crap on the edge of the decking, no doubt from when people feed birds when they aren't supposed to, and...drum roll...there wasn't a spare packet of tissues. No doubt reception would provide you with more tissues. Always important to me, the shower was terrific.

Omg just back from couple of days at Anglesea BIG4 in Safari tent, every tent has a different animal out the front. Loved the great shower, with rain shower head. Roomy for 1or 2..I don't think I would like to be a family of 6..bath on deck for the kids, private bbq. Only negative is the lights aren't real bright...I will go back again

Amazing family caravan park. Stayed in our caravan and had a great time. -2 playgrounds on sand. -water play in one playground -inside toddler play area, movie room and games room. -toilet block was best I’ve ever seen. Individual cubicles with shower and toilet. -indoor pool was hot enough to use on cold days. Toddler splash area which was great. -riding distance into town but probably not walking distance. However we barely left the caravan park as there was so much to do!

We met a few families here. Highly recommend this location and park. Great facilities, playground, pool, safe set up for kids to walk through park. Lovely staff. Great morning coffee. We will absolutely come again. Cabin with TV in main bedroom a bonus too. We loved it and created great family memories- thank you!

Stayed in the Safari Tent for a family for a week. Safari tent had plenty of space to for family of 4-6 people. The tent location was next to the side road which could be a little noisy at times with cars/trucks in the night/morning. Love the outside bbq and tub each tent had which saved lugging extra equipment along and easy to cook up a meal. The premise was kept very clean from the swimming pools, children's playground, shared areas to the cabins. Pools were heated which helped for those rainy/colder days. KIDS approved! Location was good as you could walk/jog/drive to nearby activities. Staff where friendly and always helpful and would recommend. *note Anglesea stores and restaurants close early 8pm so plan ahead if eating out.
