Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My absolute favourite Hotel in NSW, maybe even Australia. Where to start?! Ive been to the hotel a few times and the team have always been wonderfull and professional. The rooms are always tidy and stick to the equine theme very well. Each room is named after an exceptional horse and the interior design is like a luxury stable. The floor has race horses hidden in it as well. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to get a view of the race track as well. The bed is extremely comfy and the bath is just bliss. The restaurant can be abit pricey but it is well worth it! Still takes the cake for the best steaks ive ever had. If I ever have an event to attend in Sydney I now just book here because to stay is always good and the parking is easy and free .

Got a last minute rate! Room was great with a good view over the stables and racecourse. Dinner in the restaurant was much better than we expected, would definitely dine there again. Breakfast also very enjoyable. Front desk staff were wonderful and helpful. Restaurant staff also great.

This is a great hotel adjacent to Warwick Farm Racecourse. We stayed there on a road trip from the Gold Coast to Canberra. Got a great rate with my Accor membership. The Hotel is very horse racing themed given its location. The rooms, the decor and the public areas. The rooms are lovely and fairly new. The bed was comfortable. I hated the bathroom configuration - shower and toilet behind glass doors with basin outside allowing minimal privacy. Other hotels like this I have stayed in have usually configured it so the bathroom doesn’t face straight into the bed. Some of the hotel rooms have racecourse views and the rooftop pool area also has views over the racecourse. The restaurant and bar area was great with good food and service. This was a nice hotel so if you’re going to the races or need to be in the area definitely consider it.

Room Tip: The parking is free but not undercover. Ask for a high floor with racecourse views

Absolutely stunning location. Extremely helpful staff. Rooms are clean and well looked after. Would 100% return for future trips. I would also just like to mention Ruby (she was working at the Reception) and she served me with a kind smile and was very memorable. She gave me the best introduction i have ever had, explaining all and answering all our questions in such a calm manner. Highly recommend this hotel, it is worth ever cent. Staff here are friendly and very well mannered. And the service is stunning! Thank you

It was an excellent hotel. The rooms were well designed and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant. The food and service were excellent. One small complaint was that the pillows were very hard, but the hotel is working on a pillow menu.

This hotel gets it right every time. When people say that it’s the small things that count, well the William Inglis excels here. Nothing is missed - from the room upgrade as an Accor member, bottled water provided in the room along with a welcome amenity. The drink voucher allows for a good quality wine, which is a great strategy because it encourages you to purchase a bottle. Why some hotels serve limited and often crap house wine is beyond me. It’s a great opportunity to up sell. The rooms are spacious and comfortable including the beds and pillows. The air con works fine - unlike many hotels that I’ve stayed in. The amenities are great. The rooms really can’t be faulted. When checking into the William Inglis you are made to feel welcome. It’s the first impression and it’s just always perfect. Welcoming, friendly staff from the moment that you walk in. Now the restaurant! Well those chefs really know how to cook a steak! But if you’re vegetarian, the variety is fabulous and the food is just cooked to perfection every time. The staff at this hotel are polite and friendly. They give you the impression that they actually want to be there and they actually really want to give you a great experience. Well done William Inglis. You’re attention to detail is just spot on. We have stayed many times over the past 5yrs and it is a hotel that is at the top of our list due to its consistent high standard.

On arrival greeted by 2 absolutely wonderful ladies on reception. Meals. Dinner in room. Steak and steamed veggies. Cheese plate for one after. Order steak medium but go rare. Steam veggies lucky to see steam and basically raw. No steak knife no cheese knife. Just one knife for both. Next night seafood linguine, hand cut chips and a crème Breule. Got 3 spoons and a knife. Pasta over oiled and the 2 prawns are still sitting on the plate in the hallway. Just a bit fishy smelling to take the risk. Delivered Luke warm. Fridge in room better for dry aging steak than keeping drinks cold. But bed comfy and room clean. Better to eat out than in

The hotel itself is very good. The pool area is small but is on the 9th floor so has a good view. Gavin at the pool bar was extremely friendly & helpful. More seats/Sun lounges are needed & more shade. If the 4 cabanas were taken out there would be a lot more room for seating & a huge shade could be put up. The staff are very friendly although there wasn’t enough staff on when we had dinner. I couldn’t find anything on the menu I could eat as I have food intolerances. I had to seek out a waitress & ask for help. Thankfully ‘Jenny’ spoke with the chef & I had fish & salad. (It did still cost $42 which was the price for the fish meal on the menu). We waited for well over an hr for our meals & my husband’s was not what he ordered. Due to the fact we had waited so long he agreed to eat it. Bit of a disappointing experience. We didn’t have breakfast at the restaurant as we weren’t able to use my Accor card on a public holiday. I can’t justify spending $70 for the two of us when there’s not a lot of food options for me. We ended up sharing a room service meal which was good.
