We stayed here as my husband was attending an event at Eastern Creek. We only stayed for one night but I wished we'd stayed longer. Every aspect of this hotel has WOW factor. We enjoyed gorgeous views over the racecourse from our enormous room with the biggest bathroom I've ever seen, plus a delicious evening meal from room service and equally delicious breakfast in the very impressive restaurant. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there. It was a breath of fresh air and I can't wait to return when the races are on!!!
We always enjoy our stays at the William Inglis. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was superb. It was an extra bonus to witness the horse sales. A fabulous experience all round. We can not recommend this hotel enough.
From check-in to check out The best 7 night stay I have experienced in a very long time. The staff are amazing, the restaurant and facilities are amazing, the food is top class, and the hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. definitely value for money. it is my second stay with the hotel in less then a month.Louis is the perfect host at the Newmarket.
We recently stated at the William Inglis Hotel as we had a wedding close by and were pleasantly surprised at how great it was. The staff from the front desk to the restaurant were fantastic and we couldnt fault fault the service. We had dinner at the restaurant one night which i high recommend. We were upgraded to a suite which was great and nice and spacious. I likely wouldnt stay here if I didnt have an event close by as it is quite far from everything in Sydney however for a getaway or somewhere nice to stay if you do have something close by I highly recommend.
I work sometimes near Liverpool so I've tried most hotels between Mascot and Campbelltown and this one is probably the best. Positives: Well maintained, professional check in, very quiet room, good air con. TV is free-to-air and some sports channels. Plenty of lifts so good quick access to the floors. Things to be aware of: The bathroom in our room at least doesn't have a door so the only barrier between the toilet and shower is a 3/4 height glass swinging door. Whoever thinks this sort of thing is romantic has a very different idea than me. Apart from toilet smells and noises you can't use the light in the middle of the night without waking up your partner. Did they run out of money before fitting bathroom doors? It's not convenient to anything except the racecourse. There are no restaurants nearby except the onsite restaurant. Although nice, it's got a limited range of steaks etc which I could do at home on the BBQ. A steak each, 2 sides and a cheaper bottle of wine for $160. Parking is free but is open air and the access is also not under cover - so you get wet if it's raining. The pool on the roof was quite pleasant except for another group that played music on their own speakers at a loud volume, consumed drugs and swore. Staff did nothing. It ruined our afternoon.…
As usual the staff at The William Inglis make the stay more enjoyable every time I visit. Even thou the motel was fully booked nothing was over looked by all the staff. Our room extremely clean, the food was first rate and the staff were friendly & polite at all times.
We decided to make a first time visit to the Inglis Classic Yearling Sales and as Accor Plus members this was an obvious choice and what a good choice it was. The Yearling Sales are an interesting and free experience and the Sale Ring virtually makes up the ground floor of the hotel. Plenty of seating, bar, restaurant and takeaway facilties and a good way to watch the sales . Service always good at Sofitel. The rooms are large, tastefully appointed and overlook the Warwick Farm Racecourse and the Inglis Sales Complex. There is a rooftop pool and deck on the top floor where you can watch the horses work in the morning. Already planning another visit on race day.
Stayed here for 3 nights from Christmas Eve with my parents for a Christmas getaway for an easy and relaxing time…that’s what it was. Property was nice quiet. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I/we stay @William a couple of times a year, it’s home away from home.Thankyou to Louis for all his help and great Christmas Day Lunch…heap of selection/choice of food. We wish there was a lighter bar menu in the Restaurant to choose from to have (burger/pizza etc)…like you have on the pool menu. Just attention to detail in cleaning of the room needs to be looked into…when I arrived in my room the table had glass rings stains and TV hadn’t been cleaned with finger marks. Special thanks to Chanda, always helpful and great service. Looking forward to coming back in 2022.
Staff are always helpful and friendly. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Food is fantastic. I do miss the buffet breakfast as it's nice to be enticed by all the great offerings. However the breakfast was huge and very tasty.
Hair brush and coffee cup scattered, cafe not open on weekends, no blue carpet for Accor Plus members, pool temp could not be adjusted, overall poor customer experience for a such premium brand like MGallery.
